MRE Lite Confirmed 2020

Earlier in 2019 we broke the story that RedCon1 was going to launch a MRE Lite RTD. We now have confirmation that the MRE Lite RTD will be launching in Q1 2020.

The RedCon1 team, including CEO Aaron Singerman and President Eric Hart were in Dallas, TX at the Tetra Pack USA facility where they approved six flavors of MRE Lite.

CEO Aaron Singerman commented on his personal facebook page:

Just leaving the HUGE @tetrapakusa facility here in Dallas! Crazy success on the MRE LITE Rtd – there is no doubt these will change the protein RTD market and make a huge impact on @redcon1 business in Q1 2020. Every flavor we tried, and approved, was better than the last! Now that the pilot run has been completed, we start the big run ASAP! The only question is: how fast can we sell our first million MRE LITE rtds?!

With an ETA of Q1 2020 we can imagine you will see this be a big splash at the 2020 Arnold Fitness Expo.

More info to follow once we confirm flavors, but we do know that a total of six flavors were approved, three of them will be available on launch.

Fitness Informant's POV

RedCon1 states that this will change the protein RTD category, and it very well may. If yo look at the category, it is OWNED by Muscle Milk and Premier Protein. Both of these proteins are dairy based. RedCon1's MRE Lite RTD will be an animal based protein without whey. In a market where consumers are looking for alternatives to dairy, this could be a HUGE play by the brand.
