Purus Labs NOXygen

purus labs noxygen overall ratingPurus Labs continues to make great products with optimal dosages for maximum results. We’ve review other products from Purus Labs on Fitness Informant including Everyday Amino and Muscle Marinade. We were fans of both. Purus Labs uses high quality ingredients to back their optimal formulas.

NOXygen from Purus Labs follows suit for what the company has produced. The combination of patent NO3 and HydroMax gives the user an epic pump at an unbelievable value. Retailing for less than $20 for 40-servings you cannot go wrong with NOXygen as your pump product of choice.

NOXygen Label

4.5 / 5.0

Each serving of NOXygen is only 2.8g in size. What's unique about their serving is that it is clumpy. It is not a normal powder you would typically find in a supplement.  You get a full 40-servings per container.

NOXygen utilizes two main ingredients: HydroMax and NO3. HydroMax is glycerol which essentially keeps your muscles full of water during your lift. This gives you amazing pumps and extra endurance to keep lifting. This is dosed at 1.5g which is awesome. Per TigerFitness.com you want to consume between .7 and 2g of HydroMax for optimal pumps.

NO3 is Nitrate which is a NO boosting agent. NOXygen uses a patent NO3-T ingredient in the form of Sodium Nitrate and Betaine Nitrate. Collectively these two ingredients are going to increase the nitric oxide production in your body. More nitric oxide means more muscle swelling pumps. This is in a "proprietary blend" which we are not fans of, but given it is only two ingredients we can let this one by. Had this not used a prop blend, we would have rated this a 5.0/5.0.

purus labs noxygen bottleI’ve never been one to experience “vein splitting” pumps, and NOXygen is no different. I don’t get the vascularity as some men and women do in the gym. However, NOXygen provided me with epic muscle pumps. I would take one to two servings with my pre-workout at 5am in the morning on an empty stomach. I also tried to consume a small carb to help with the absorption of the NOXygen and PWO. The results were great. I cannot recall another pump product that provided the nice pumps I was getting from NOXygen. This would be a 5.0/5.0 if I had experienced the “vein splitting” pumps that I see some get.

Flavor: Unflavored

The nice thing about NOXygen is that is it unflavored. This mean you can add it to any pre-workout beverage and not get any weird taste. It truly is flavorless.

5.0 / 5.0

What is unique about NOXygen is that it is not a powder, per se, but a clumpy mixture. With the texture that it is I figured that this wouldn't mix very well. It is almost like someone had poured a little bit of water into the container prior...that's the clumpy I am talking about. However, when mixed with any PWO it mixed right in. No residue. No "clumping" after putting it in your drink. Great mixability, shockingly great, actually.

5.0 / 5.0

You will see by the prices listed below that this is an amazing value. NOXygen is 40-servings that retails for less than $20. That is going to be less than $.50 per serving. The combination of the profile, the muscle swelling pumps I got and the price you cannot go wrong with NOXygen. This is one of the best value pump supplements you will ever find on the market.
