Overview of iForce Nutrition HemaVO2 Max

iForce Nutrition, before being acquired by Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals, made one of the first pump producing products in Hemavol. It was such a success for the company. I used the original Hemavol and I liked it. However, that was before I really knew about supplements.

Fast forward now to now and we have iForce Nutrition HemaVO2 Max. This is Hemavol on roids. Well, not really, but a much stronger and more effective variation. HemaVO2 Max focuses on producing a pump with HydroMax, but also wants your mind to be clear and focused as well. Overall it is a decent pump product, but there are better alternatives out there.

Why You Should Trust Our Reviews

  • EXPERT REVIEW PANEL
Our review panel is made up of individuals with many years of experience in the sports nutrition industry, dating back to the early 2000’s. Their tenure gives them knowledge on brands, supplements, ingredients, dosages and more.
  • FULL CONTAINER REVIEWS
Unlike the majority of “review” sites on the internet, Fitness Informant reviews every supplement on a full-container basis. What does this mean? It means that a review is not written or recorded until the last serving of that product has been finished. We’ve all had products that were great for the first couple of days, but then lost their effectiveness shortly after. We want to ensure you are getting a full review based on a full product.
  • INGREDIENT EDUCATION
We breakdown each ingredient in our reviews to educate you on exactly what the ingredients do, and what is the proper dosage of each ingredient to effectively do what they are intended to do.
  • 100% HONEST – NO B.S. REVIEWS
Our number #1 priority is to inform you proper supplement selection through honest reviews. The majority of “review” sites on the internet will push you to buy a certain product based on the commissions they received. Not us. We want you to purchase the highest quality supplements at the best value. We put your health and wellness first. To achieve your goals we want you to use only the best supplements that you can afford. We do this by being honest.

Testing Results and Ratings

We reviewed iForce Nutrition HemaVO2 Max on five categories. We first start by looking at it’s ingredient profile. This portion of the review looks at the different ingredients used in the pump supplement, what their intention is and how effectively dosed are each ingredient.

We then look at effectiveness. An effective pre-workout will use high quality, proven ingredients, at clinically backed dosages.  This is generally an extension of the profile section. The higher quality ingredients used at proper dosages, the more effective that product will be.

Then we move into the taste of the different flavors we’ve tried. We grade each flavor separately and average the scores for their overall taste rating. We were able to test out the following flavors: Rainbow Sherbert.

Mixability refers to how well the powder mixes in 12oz of water. We use the shaker bottle test. This would be your typical Blender Bottle with the spiral chrome ball.

Finally, we talk about value. Value is the combination of profile, effectiveness, taste and mixability in relation to cost. Another part of value are the competitors and other versions of pump products on the market.

Ingredients Profile

(6/10)

HemaVO2 Max from iForce Nutrition uses very popular pump enhancing ingredients, as well as cognitive enhancing ingredients, but we’re not sure how much of each we’re getting. Why? It is a proprietary blended product.

The pump complex is 4g of HydroMax (Glycerol), which is one of my favorite ingredients, and Potassium Nitrate. We are not sure how much of each we are getting, although we know both have been shown to improve pumps.

The Mind and Muscle Amplification is only 1g consisting of Choline Bitartrate, Selaginella Tamariscia Extract and Sceletium Tortuosum Extract. Choline is the most popular ingredient used here, but in a prop blend at 1g I would not expect it to be very beneficial.

Overall, the use of HydroMax and Potassium Nitrate is sold for enhancing pumps, but we’re unsure what the dosage is. The use of the Mind/Muscle complex is pretty useless at these amounts.

Effectiveness

(6/10)

The pump you get from HemaVO2 Max is apparent. We did take this with a pre-workout without any pump ingredients, and we were able to obtain an OK pump. It was not the best pump we’ve ever had, but still apparent. I believe they could use more HydroMax (use the whole 4g on it) to produce a better pump.

Regarding the Mind/Muscle Amplification, I didn’t notice any improvement in either categories.

Overall, it was semi-effective for pump (maybe if you eat more carbs prior it would help) and non-effective for cognitive enhancing functions.

Taste

Rainbow Sherbert: (9/10)

The best part of HemaVO2 Max is the flavor profile. Rainbow Sherbert takes you back to your days of licking on a Flintstones push-up. At least for me it did. It is very refreshing. Another good part is that it can be mixed with just about any flavor pre-workout and it doesn’t taste bad. Alone or combined it tastes great.

Mixability

(8/10)

Typically, pump supplements are lower dosed. HemaVO2 Max is an 8g serving size. This makes it easy for it to dissolve decently in water. The powder itself has little chunks (most likely from the HydroMax), but once in water and a couple vigorous shakes, they dissolve decent. See video for demonstration.

Value

(5/10)

Overall, HemaVO2 Max is not a bad product, but not a product I would pay close to $35 for. There are competitors on the market who sell transparent label pump products using as much as 4-6g of HydroMax and other pump enhancing (proven) ingredients for less. Some are more, but they are dosed much better than HemaVO2 Max. If you can find this on special it might be worth a spend, but anything above $30 is tough to buy.
