The 2020 Mr. Olympia competition recently announced that they were having their yearly competition at the popular Planet Hollywood Resort in Las Vegas. Well, it looks as if the 2020 Mr. Olympia Expo will also be having a new location as well.
It was just announced that the Mr Olympia Expo weekend will be held at the Sands Expo and Convention Center for the year of 2020. This is a big change, as it has been held at the Vegas Convention Center for years now. Sands is the second biggest Convention Center in Vegas, just behind the Vegas Convention Center. This might be a good thing for the Olympia Expo, as the 2019 Expo felt a bit emptier this year than it has in recent years. Either way, that is not to say the Sands Convention Center is small by any means.
There is a lot to look forward to with this upcoming Olympia, which we will surely get into in the coming future. There are certainly going to be a few noticeable changes, which we can already say look to be for the better. With that said, there will also be a shorter distance between the expo and the host hotel, which is a welcome change for everybody.
The Olympia is set to take place in mid-December, as opposed to the usual early Fall time.

We are actually liking this change. With the host hotel being closer, and with the placement being in a more popping part of Vegas, we are sure this will be a welcome change to the popular event. Last year, it felt kind of empty to say the least, at least when compared to previous events. Well, with a new direction and leadership, we can't wait for the Olympia. It has been too long since our last event for sure!
