Who says that supplement brands are the only ones that can have fun with licensing deals? Well, Bodybuilding.com is getting into the game as they have teamed up with Hostess Brands to launch a new line called REMIX.
The first two products launched under this REMIX line are authentic Hostess Brands flavors: Chocolate CupCakes® and Twinkies®.
It is unclear if this brand is owned by Bodybuilding.com with a license deal with Hostess Brands, but either way, this is a collaboration that can pay off for Bodybuilding.com.
Both Chocolate CupCakes® and Twinkies® are iconic brands in the snack space. Who hasn't had a Twinkie right? These flavors will only be available on Bodybuilding.com, something the brand looks for from other brands (exclusives).
REMIX is a protein blend conisiting of five protein sources: whey concentrate, milk protein isolate, whey isolate, micellar casein and egg white protein. The macros are as follows:

Carbs: 5g
Protein: 24g

Final Takeaway
I will admit, this is pretty cool. I know a lot of people are fans of Hostess Brands snacks. This could open the door to other flavors like Ding Dongs, HoHos and more. Good on Bodybuilding.com to take it upon themselves to get this deal done. Again, I am not sure if this is a licence deal or an actual partnership between the two companies. Either way, we are excited to try it.
