But when we see brands like Axe & Sledge slowly transitioning into the healthier supplement side, we all get excited.

Axe & Sledge has made some huge leaps in the health supplement space in the last couple years with their Reds+ and Greens+ along with others like Liver+. They are expanding this with the new Multi+ formula that is fully loaded and ready to go.

In adults 20 years old and over, women’s doses are 122mcg and men are up to 138mcg per day.

Thiamin(B1)- 30mg

Thiamin is also named “B1” because it was the first Vitamin B discovered. Vitamin B2 also helps release energy from proteins. In other words, riboflavin takes your whole-wheat bagel and cream cheese and turns it into energy to get you through that next meeting (even if it could have been an email). Riboflavin is basically a key component of coenzymes involved with the growth of cells, energy production, and the breakdown of fats, steroids, and medications. While children shouldn’t take more than 1.8mg per day, adults usual doses range from 2-15mg.

Folate- 400mcg

Folate (vitamin B-9) is important in red blood cell formation and for healthy cell growth and function. Folate helps tissues grow and cells work properly. Most importantly it is involved in protein metabolism. To ensure this, studies show that 400mcg is sufficient.

It also may benefit your body in impressive ways, such as by boosting your energy, improving your memory, and helping prevent heart disease.

Biotin not only helps skin, hair and nails, it is also necessary for formation of fatty acids and glucose, which are used as fuels by the body. It is also important for the metabolism of amino acids and carbohydrates. Studies show that the average daily dose is between 30-100mcg per day.

Pantothenic Acid(B5) – 50mg

Vitamin B5 or Pantothenic Acid as most people know it, playings a role in the breakdown of fats and carbohydrates for energy, vitamin B5 is critical to the manufacture of red blood cells, as well as sex and stress-related hormones produced in the adrenal glands, small glands that sit atop the kidneys. The recommended amount for adults is 5 mg per day.

Choline- 100mg

Choline supplements are said to reduce cholesterol, control mood swings, and protect the liver from damage due to alcohol. They also may lower blood pressure, boost memory, and treat Alzheimer disease. Choline may also enhance athletic performance. In adults, the average daily choline intake from foods and beverages is 402 mg in men and 278 mg in women.

Iodine- 150mcg

Iodine helps the thyroid gland, in the neck, to make the hormone thyroxine. Thyroxine controls many of the ways certain body cells work. Thyroxine is important for the growth of bones and nerves, and affects how proteins, fats and carbohydrates are used in the body (metabolism). When taken by mouth: Iodine is likely safe for most people when taken in doses less than 1100 mcg daily.

Magnesium- 105mg

Zinc, a nutrient found throughout your body, helps your immune system and metabolism function. Zinc is also important to wound healing and your sense of taste and smell. With a varied diet, your body usually gets enough zinc. Food sources of zinc include chicken, red meat and fortified breakfast cereals. Zinc deficiency can also lead to low stomach acid. Research says the recommended daily amount of zinc is 8 mg for women and 11 mg for adult men.

Selenium- 150mcg

Selenium restores antioxidant capacity in the lungs and moderates inflammation in the lungs through interleukin-1-beta (IL-1B) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) pathways, providing a measured immune response. This is a key point for anyone who deals with allergies, asthma or other conditions in which an immune response that is too intense could be a liability, rather than a comfort. Taken with Zinc this is a very important supplement to have in your daily mix. Doctors advise taking no more than 400 micrograms of Selenium a day.

Copper- 3mg

Copper is a mineral that is found throughout the body. It helps your body make red blood cells and keeps nerve cells and your immune system healthy. It also helps form collagen, a key part of bones and connective tissue. Copper may also act as an antioxidant, reducing free radicals that can damage cells and DNA. In adults age 20 and older, average daily intakes of copper from food are 1.5 to 2.5 milligrams.

Manganese- 5mg

Manganese helps the body form connective tissue, bones, blood clotting factors, and sex hormones. It also plays a role in fat and carbohydrate metabolism, calcium absorption, and blood sugar regulation. Manganese is also necessary for normal brain and nerve function. It’s recommended that adult males 19 years and older consume 2.3 mg of manganese daily.

Chromium- 35mcg

It might help keep blood sugar levels normal by improving the way the body uses insulin. People use chromium for chromium deficiency. It is also used for diabetes, high cholesterol, athletic performance, bipolar disorder, and many other purposes. The daily dose for chromium is 35 mcg for adults and children age 4 and older.

Molybdenum- 45mcg

Molybdenum is a mineral that you need to stay healthy. Your body uses molybdenum to process proteins and genetic material like DNA. Molybdenum also helps break down drugs and toxic substances that enter the body. The suggested usage for molybdenum is 45 mcg for adults and children age 4 years and older.

KSM-66 – 300mg

KSM-66 Ashwagandha has been gaining in popularity due to the ingredients ability to regulate cortisol levels (from stress). This is The typical dosage of KSM-66 has been 600mg.

Spectra is a premium antioxidant blend of 29 fruit, vegetable, and herbal extracts that stimulates antioxidant activity. It also naturally boosts nitric oxide levels. Among its many benefits it not only stimulates antioxidant activity within the human body but also inhibits free radicals. Supports efficient cellular oxygen consumption and optimizes cellular metabolism. Supports a healthy immune response in adults.

Bioperine – 5mg

BioPerine is a very simple product. This is a black pepper extract that is used in supplements to increase the absorption of ingredients. Not much is needed to ensure this and studies show that 5mg is plenty to get the job done.

Boron – 3mg

Also known as Boron Glycinate, Boron has been shown to support overall health and plays a role in bone health, central nervous system function, and reduction in inflammation. There aren’t any specific dietary recommendations for boron, but it’s estimated that most adults consume about 1-1.5 mg daily.
