EAA's could almost be considered essential at this point and Kai Greene along with the guys over at PROAM have formulated a killer product that even incorporates a hydration factor which is absolutely essential for everyday life. With an initial three flavor options of Cucumber Lime, Mango and Tropical Punch there are enough options for everyone. We see an MSRP of $39.99 for a full 30 serving container with only 10 total calories per serving.

No flashy labels needed here, just pure passion for the industry and it shows in this formulation.

PROAM EAA+ SUPPLEMENTS FACTS PAGE

As we have already stated you can almost consider an EAA product absolutely “Essential”(pun intended) at this point. If you expect to perform at your absolute best, then you need some form of amino acid profile in your daily routine.

Essential amino acids (EAAs) are amino acids that the human body cannot produce on its own and must therefore be obtained from the diet. There are nine EAAs which include the three popular Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) in Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine.

To jump start this ingredient profile we get 60mg of Calcium, 50mg of Potassium and 30mg of Phosphorus all from Calci-K(Calcium Potassium Phosphate Citrate).ProAmEAA-SFP

Starting out with our BCAA profiles consisting of 3,000mg of L-Leucine and 1,500mg of L-Isoleucine and L-Valine both.

We also get 885mg of L-Lysine hydrochloride. When L-Lysine is in its hydrochloride form, it is typically referred to as L-lysine Hydrochloride. This form is often used in supplements because it is more stable and easily absorbed by the body. L-Lysine plays a vital role in protein synthesis, tissue repair, and the production of enzymes and hormones. Then we get 520mg of L-Threonine. This is an essential amino acid, meaning it must be obtained from the diet since the body cannot produce it on its own. It plays a crucial role in various physiological processes and is involved in the synthesis of proteins, enzymes, and neurotransmitters. 336mg of L-Histidine and 140mg of L-Phenylalanine.

At a dose of 75mg, we have L-methionine which is a precursor to cysteine, another amino acid that contributes to the synthesis of important antioxidants and proteins. Methionine is important for liver health, particularly in the detoxification of harmful substances. It helps in the breakdown of fats and supports the health of liver cells.

For the final part of the Aminos we have 44mg of  L-Tryptophan. One of the most well-known roles of L-tryptophan is as a precursor to serotonin, a neurotransmitter that regulates mood, sleep, appetite, and digestion. Adequate levels of serotonin are important for mental health, and low serotonin levels are often associated with conditions like depression and anxiety.

Taurine – 1g

Taurine is an amino acid that’s naturally found in the body, particularly in the brain, heart, eyes, and muscles. Even though it’s called an “amino acid,” it doesn’t get used to build proteins like other amino acids. Taurine plays a variety of roles in the body, such as helping regulate the water and mineral balance in cells, supporting bile salt formation (which helps digest fats), and contributing to the health of the heart and eyes.

Coconut Water Powder – 100mg

The biggest thing coconut water has been found to be good for that people is using it to help with rehydration. Coconut water also is very nutrient rich in several B-Vitamins and electrolytes making it a optimal recovery and/or intra-workout ingredient to help replenish hydration and lost nutrients. PROAM has given us 100mg of coconut water powder to help us keep hydrated, sources have found it is safe to take 10g – 15g of coconut water powder daily. This gives the opportunity to utilize coconut water powder in other products throughout our day.

AstraGin – 50mg

AstraGin from Nuliv Science has become the standard in ingredient additions to most all dietary supplements. At just 50mg Astragin improves the absorption of active ingredients in formulas. AstraGin may also improve gut health and brain health.

Final Takeaway on ProAm Nutrition EAA+

We talk alot about the flashy supplements such as high stim pre-workouts and other stuff along those lines, but a good solid EAA profile with Hydration is an absolute game changer. No matter how good your pre is, if youre not hydrated and dont have the aminos to back it up, then youre just wasting money. We are pretty excited to try this EAA with Hydration and you should be too. Head on over to their website and try it for yourself. As always follow all our social media channels for more info.
