Protes, famous for their protein popcorn, has officially announced the launching of three new plant-based protein chips. Company representatives claim that these will be the best tasting protein chips on the market.
Protes will be launching a three 15g protein chip products including Zesty Nacho, Spicy Chili Lime and Tangy Southern BBQ. The protein source is pea protein isolate, one of the cleanest forms of plant-based protein available. They will also be Gluten Free, Non-GMO and Soy Free.
The macros are as follows:
Fats: 4g
Carbs: 8g
Protein: 15g
Each package is 1oz or 28g. Not a lot, but still packing a 15g plant-based protein punch.
Protes will also be adding a new flavor to their popcorn lineup. They are adding a movie-night popcorn in the flavor of Light Butter. This will be added to their White Cheddar and Sweet Cinnamon protein popcorn. The protein popcorn line features 10g of protein from whey protein isolate.

I have had the two existing protein popcorns from Protes: Sweet Cinnamon and White Cheddar. Both are very good. I was hoping they would launch more of a traditional popcorn flavor so I am excited to see Light Butter come to fruition.
I have never had the protein chips before (not even the Quest ones). I am excited to try them as the flavors sound great. Plant-based protein is HOT right now, especially Pea Protein (vs. Soy). Solid job by the team. It sounds like they have major distribution so you should see this coming to stores near you soon!
