If you buy a flavored MuscleEgg you will get pure egg whites (they have organic egg whites as well) lightly flavored with natural flavors and it will use dextrose and sucralose. We would have given this a perfect score if they can find a way to sweeten with stevia versus dextrose or sucralose but this would never prevent us from buying this. The best part is they farm all their own eggs!Regarding the drinkability of MuscleEgg it is important to note that their egg whites are completely pasteurized. What does this mean? It means that the egg whites are heated up to a high temperature, but not enough to cook them, to kill any food-borne illnesses such as salmonella. I have made pancakes with the chocolate flavoring and these were great. What is amazing is when you drink it straight. The chocolate tastes just like chocolate milk. I am not kidding. Fruit Cereal is something to drool about. Fruit Cereal tastes like the milk after you finish a bowl of Fruity Pebbles or Trix. However, they will not be flavored and as good as MuscleEgg. We love MuscleEgg. Two gallons of a flavored egg white will run you around $75. Yes, that might seem steep. Keep in mind that you get over 150 egg whites per gallon. You can also drink this, so that saves time since you don’t have to cook. One gallon is good for 30 days as well. We feel this is of great value for the protein you get from whole food, the great taste and texture and the time savings you get from MuscleEgg since you can drink them straight from the bottle.
