5% Nutrition has joined the electrolyte race with their new Hydrate STK stick packs. Hydrate STK stick packs are available now in two flavors: Blueberry Lemonade and Lemon Lime.
5% Nutrition Hydrate STK
The new 5% Nutrition Hydrate STK contain electrolytes as well as other ingredients designed for hydration and recovery. There are 10 stick packs per carton, and each stick pack is 8.6g in serving size.
The formula starts with 1,500mg Taurine. Taurine regulates electrolytes and can aid in performance output.
Coconut Water Concentrate is used at 1,250mg. This is one of the larger doses of dried coconut water powder we’ve seen in a hydration formula.
The next ingredient is 250mg of Tart Cherry Extract. This aids in post-workout recovery (or just recovery in general).
The last ingredient is SAM-e at 100mg. S-adenosyl-L-methionine (SAMe) is a compound found naturally in the body. SAMe helps produce and regulate hormones and maintain cell membranes.
This is a different formula than we’ve typically seen in a hydration product. It is available now in two flavors.

Final Takeaway
Interesting product. I thought they would go 20-servings per package, not 10. These retail for $22 for 10 packets so it is still cheaper than bottle water, Gatorade, Powerade or even Pedialyte. This is a great on-the-go option. I have not tried yet, but once we get them we will let you know!
