BlackMarketLabs has quietly launched a new pre-workout supplement geared towards beginners. BlackMarketLabs PRE Introductory has hit the brand’s website for $34.99 for 30-servings. It is available in three flavors: Blue Razz, Fruit Punch and Watermelon.
What makes BlackMarketLabs new pre-workout an “introductory” pre-workout? The dosages of active ingredients are at an amount that most brands would consider a “tolerance” assessment. BlackMarketLabs Introductory PRE is a 30-serving unit. At one scoop the dosages are 1/2 of what we’d look for here at FI. However, at two scoops it does change the price per serving (w/ coupon code INFORMANT it retails for less than $30 making it less than $2/serving). At the two scoop level we are getting clinical dosages of key ingredients. Citrulline Malate, used to promote blood flow, is dosed at 3g per single scoop or 6g for two – the clinical dosage. Beta-Alanine, used for muscle endurance, is dosed at 1.6g per single scoop or 3.2g for two. This is, yet again, another clinically dosed ingredient. Betaine Anhydrous, which aids in muscle power output, is dosed at 1.25g for a single serving, or 2.5g per a double serving. This is where we’d want to see that. Choline Bitartrate, used for cognitive enhancement, is dosed at 250mg for a single serving or 500mg for two.
The first unique ingredient we find is Cafe Alatus at 150mg. This is a natural form of caffeine. At two scoops you get 300mg. Alpha-GPC, a favorite at FI, is used at 150mg or 300mg per two scoops for improved focus and memory. Lastly we get AstraGin at 25mg or 50mg per two scoops for ingredient absorption.
BlackMarketLabs Introductory Pre is available now at BlackMarketLabs.com.

Fitness Informant's POV
I would rip this pre-workout to pieces if it was priced above $40...but it's not. With the coupon code INFORMANT you knock off 15% bringing this below $30 for 30-servings. I would never take the one scoop serving size as I want full dosages of these key ingredients, so I would have to use two scoops. Even at two scoops, this pre would be less than $2 per serving. This is where we are finding a lot of pre-workouts retail for now days when they are fully dosed and using key ingredients. We get a natural form of caffeine and Alpha-GPC, among others, to make this a decent pre-workout (based on label alone) for anyone at two scoops. If you are a beginner you can start with one scoop, but just know you are forgoing optimal dosages of key ingredients.
