It's official, GHOST has been named the 2019 Fitness Informant Shield of Excellence Brand of the Year. GHOST had a highly successful 2019 which included key product launches, authentic flavor collaborations and limited editions.
Each brand nominated in the Brand of the Year category was deserving of the recognition. Each brand accomplished so much in their own right helping advance the industry in the right direction.
GHOST edged out the competition due to their overall impact on the sports nutrition industry. In 2019, the industry saw many brands try to mimic, copy or imitate what GHOST had been doing in the marketplace. However, GHOST was created on real authenticity, something that cannot be mimicked, copied or imitated.
The biggest impact GHOST made to the industry in 2019 was their authentic flavor collaborations. GHOST partnered with Sonic Drive-In® for a Cherry Limeade version of their popular pre-workout Legend. GHOST then partnered with Welch's® Grape Juice for their Legend pre-workout and their Amino V2 product. The most anticipated launch of 2019 may have been GHOST's official collaboration with Chips Ahoy!® for their GHOST Whey product. GHOST Whey Chips Ahoy!® sold out online in under 9 minutes.
GHOST had key launches in 2019 in new product categories. The brand launched GHOST Burn, a Shield of Excellence nominee for Product of the Year. GHOST also reformulated their amino acid product for Amino V2 to be a full spectrum EAA product with other added benefits.
In addition to key launches in 2019, GHOST also had limited editions. Those limited editions included GHOST Legend x Christian Guzman V3, GHOST Legend x Maxx Chewning and seasonal flavors of their GHOST Whey proteins.
The competition was extremely tight in 2019, and the race was neck-and-neck, but GHOST ultimately walked away with the biggest honor in the game, the official 2019 Fitness Informant Shield of Excellence Supplement Award for Brand of the Year - a customized 2019 Brand of the Year WWE-style championship belt.
