GHOST continues their quest for a three-peat in the Brand of the Year category at Fitness Informant with the news that they have reached an agreement with The Vitamin Shoppe to bring the brand and their products nationwide starting in the summer of 2021 (confirmed via The Vitamin Shoppe’s official Instagram). The Vitamin Shoppe will become the first major US based retailer to carry the brand outside of GNC.
Per the images posted online, it appears that The Vitamin Shoppe will be getting the full suite of products that GHOST has to offer. The images show GHOST Whey X Chips Ahoy!, GHOST Legend X Bubblicious, GHOST Pump and more. Previously The Vitamin Shoppe only carried GHOST Energy.

GHOST’s agreement with GNC also included walls of product, but Vitamin Shoppe has traditionally not done this with brands. Vitamin Shoppe continues on their quest to bring in new, innovative and quality brands into their family.

Final Takeaway
This is a very big deal. For those that are unaware, GHOST had an exclusivity agreement with GNC, meaning GNC was going to be the only retailer, domestically, to carry GHOST products. Even after that deal ran out, GHOST stayed and did not venture outside of that retailer until one made sense. The Vitamin Shoppe is one of the hottest specialty retailers in the US - in any category. This is a great move for both brands. I, as a vendor of Vitamin Shoppe, could not be happier for this agreement.
