Infinis Nutrition Liver Supplement Facts

Liver supplements are often used to support liver health and function. They typically contain various vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and herbal extracts that are believed to promote liver health and aid in its detoxification processes. These supplements are often taken by individuals who may have liver issues, such as fatty liver disease, hepatitis, or liver damage from alcohol consumption or other factors. But they are also widely used by athletes, ranging from football and baseball players to the obviously enhanced competitive bodybuilders, for overall liver health because your health should always be a priority.

TRAACS – 250mcg

TRAACS stands for “The Real Amino Acid Chelate System,” which is a patented process used to create mineral supplements. Developed by Albion Minerals, a leading manufacturer of mineral amino acid chelates, TRAACS involves bonding minerals to organic molecules, typically amino acids. Chelation enhances the bioavailability and absorption of minerals in the body. By attaching minerals to amino acids, which are easily recognized and absorbed by the body, TRAACS helps improve the uptake of minerals, ensuring that they can be effectively utilized by cells. Studies show that the daily dosage can vary.

N-Acetyl L-Cystetine – 1,200mg

NAC or N-Acetyl L-Cystetine is a precursor to glutathione, one of the body’s most powerful antioxidants. During intense exercise, the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) increases, leading to oxidative stress and potential muscle damage. NAC may help mitigate this oxidative stress by replenishing glutathione levels, thereby protecting cells from damage caused by free radicals. More protection for your cells helps relieve some stress from your liver. Some studies range from 600mg/day up to over 1,800mg/day and can be divided into multiple doses if needed.

TUDCA – 500mg

Next we have TUDCA, which is actually our favorite liver health ingredient. We call is TUDCA, as it is easier to pronounce than Tauroursodeoxycholic Acid. TUDCA is a water soluble bile acid. According to one study, TUDCA was compared with UDCA (TUDCA without the Taurine) in patients with Biliary Cirrhosis. Both were shown to be beneficial for improving liver enzymes. Another study compared doses of 500mg to 1000mg and 1500mg of TUDCA. All 3 doses were shown to be effective for improving liver enzymes, however the two higher doses showed benefits for improving cholesterol levels as well. TUDCA has been shown to be effective at doses as low as 10mg-13mg for improving liver enzymes and restoration.

Setria Glutathione – 200mg

Setria Glutathione is a branded form of glutathione, a powerful antioxidant naturally produced in the body. Glutathione plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, including detoxification, immune function, and cellular defense against oxidative stress. Setria Glutathione is produced through a patented fermentation process, ensuring high quality and bioavailability. It is often used in dietary supplements aimed at supporting overall health, promoting detoxification, and enhancing antioxidant defenses. Additionally, Setria Glutathione is sometimes used in skincare products for its potential to promote skin health and reduce oxidative damage.

DL- Methionine – 300mg

Methionine is an essential amino acid found in protein food sources such as meat and dairy. Your body can’t make Methionine on its own, so you must get it from food or supplements. It is important for many functions in the body, including building new proteins, making DNA, and normal tissue growth and repair. There are no suggested dose for methionine supplements, but you should usually get about 14mg daily per kg of body weight from the food you eat.  Methionine is thought to be effective in treating Tylenol (acetaminophen) poisoning. The biggest benefit we are looking for here is that Methionine is involved in the synthesis of other molecules involved in detoxification processes in the liver. It helps the body eliminate harmful substances and waste products.

Artichoke Extract – 200mg

Artichoke Extract isn’t as common as some other ingredients we have here, but some research has shown it may be mildly beneficial for lipid levels. It also seems to have some benefits for lowering blood sugar levels as well. Not only may Artichoke have benefits for your cardiovascular health, it may also be good for your liver. Research shows that Artichoke may be hepatoprotective, and may help your liver cells regenerate. By enhancing bile production and flow, artichoke extract may help the liver eliminate toxins and waste products from the body. While more research needs to be done for Artichoke, at 200mg, it is dosed about average compared to others if slightly under.

Siliphos – 160mg

Siliphos is a patented form of Milk Thistle Extract standardized to contain a specific ratio of silybin, one of the active compounds found in Milk Thistle. Milk Thistle (Silybum Marianum) has a long history of use in traditional medicine for various liver disorders. Siliphos is primarily used to support liver health and function. Silybin is believed to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that can help protect liver cells from damage caused by toxins, free radicals, and inflammation. Also, he antioxidant properties of Siliphos may aid in the detoxification process by enhancing the liver’s ability to eliminate toxins and harmful substances from the body. It may also support the regeneration of liver cells. Studies currently show a daily dose ranges from 200-600mg/day divided into three doses.

Activated BroccoRaphanin Plus – 100mg

Activated BroccoRaphanin Plus combines two potent ingredients, activated broccoli seed extract and Sulforaphane Glucosinolate (SGS). But what are they?

  • Activated Broccoli Seed Extract: Broccoli is a cruciferous vegetable known for its health-promoting properties. Broccoli seeds contain a compound called glucoraphanin, which is a precursor to Sulforaphane. Activated broccoli seed extract is processed to enhance the conversion of glucoraphanin into Sulforaphane, the biologically active compound.

  • Sulforaphane Glucosinolate (SGS): Sulforaphane is a naturally occurring compound found in cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and cabbage. It is formed when the enzyme Myrosinase converts glucoraphanin into Sulforaphane. SGS is a stable precursor of Sulforaphane, providing a source of this beneficial compound.

Activated BroccoRaphanin Plus combines these two ingredients to provide a concentrated source of Sulforaphane, which is known for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and potential anticancer properties. Sulforaphane has been studied for its ability to support detoxification, protect against oxidative stress, and promote overall health.

TetraSOD – 10mg

TetraSOD is a trademarked form of SuperOxide Dismutase (SOD), which is an important antioxidant enzyme found naturally in the body. SOD plays a crucial role in neutralizing harmful free radicals, specifically superoxide radicals, which are highly reactive molecules generated during normal metabolic processes and in response to environmental stressors such as intense exercise and lifting weights. with doses varying, 10mg is sufficient to help in reducing oxidative stress and inflammation.

Bioperine – 5mg

BioPerine is a very simple product. This is a black pepper extract that is used in supplements to increase the absorption of ingredients. Not much is needed to ensure this and studies show that 5mg is plenty to get the job done.
