NutraBio Hires First Ever VP of Marketing – Plans To Grow Brand in 2020

After being without a head of marketing (Marketing Director), NutraBio has finally decided to hire a VP of Marketing. Mr. Eric Schwartz was hired as the first-ever Vice President of Marketing for NutraBio.

In his new position, Mr. Schwartz will work directly with Mark Glazier, the company’s founder, to advance NutraBio’s long-term strategic goals and strengthen their market position as a leader in the dietary supplement and sports nutrition industry. Mr. Schwartz is a seasoned marketing leader who spent his last 11 years as brand manager at Universal Nutrition.

NutraBio CEO Mark Glazier had the following to say about the hiring:

I am honored to have Eric join the NutraBio family and help to build on the solid foundation developed over the past two and a half decades. His proven leadership skills and wealth of experience and knowledge in marketing positions him perfectly for this role. Eric is a forward thinking leader who will be invaluable to our organization as we take it to the next level. We are thrilled to have him onboard.

Eric been working in the supplement industry for many years but long before that he was a consumer of supplements. He is a former competitive bodybuilder and current competitive powerlifter. Eric stated:

Weights are in my blood, it is my passion and so are supplements.

Eric holds a B.S. degree in marketing and management.

I am really excited about the opportunity to contribute to this legacy company. Great marketing is good storytelling and NutraBio has an amazing story to tell. I was drawn to the company by Mark’s obsessive commitment to quality and transparency. Putting the consumer first is something I believe in and NutraBio is the leader in that category, so our values align.

I couldn't be happier for the NutraBio family. I stated on a recent podcast that I would like to be CEO of NutraBio for a day, and the first thing I would do would be to hire a Marketing Director. CEO Mark Glazier called me and told me he couldn't agree more. Adding Eric, who has a plethora of industry experience from Universal, was a genius move by the brand. 

NutraBio has, for the most part, grown via word of mouth advertising. They never had much for marketing or ads. Now, with Eric in position, the brand can accelerate in 2020 and become more of a household name in dietary supplements while still putting the consumers first with their "without compromise" way of doing things.
