Today, we take a look at a new pre-workout on the market called Pre Fitt Carnage from a brand called NutriFitt. Just like the branding on the tub, the profile looks powerful, and is certainly going to give the user a powerful boost in energy.
One thing we have to mention is that it is meant to be stacked with Vaso Fitt, however even on it's own id is s solid option. Let’s take a look at the profile, and see what it contains to add to the Carnage.
Ingredient Profile
L-Citrulline – 6g
The first ingredient in Pre Fitt Carnage is Citrulline, which is no surprise to see in a pre-workout. Citrulline has quite a few benefits, although it is most known for being good for pumps. Citrulline converts to Arginine in the body, which is a precursor to Nitric Oxide. Arginine on its own does not absorb very well, which is why brands use Citrulline.
At 6 grams, it is dosed well in Pre Fitt Carnage.
Beta-Alanine – 3.2g
Beta-Alanine is another staple in pre-workouts, and for good reason. It has a lot of evidence showing it to be great for endurance. Behind Creatine, it is one of the more well-studied ingredients in supplements.
At 3.2 grams, it is at the clinical dose.
Betaine Anhydrous – 2.5g
Betaine is the next ingredient in here. Betaine is a very popular ingredient these days, and may help with power output. Betaine also has several studies supporting it, and it is great to see in here.
At 2.5 grams, it is at the clinical dose.
Taurine – 1g
Taurine is the next ingredient in Carnage, and it should come as no surprise. Taurine is growing in popularity, and for good reason. Taurine is known for its ability to aid with blood flow and hydration. Hydration is very important for pumps, and many already take Taurine for the anti-cramping benefits.
At 1g, it is dosed well in Carnage.
Nitrosigine® – 750mg
The next ingredient in here is Nitrosigine®, which is Arginine bound to Silica. This has several studies showing it to be beneficial for helping with vasodilation, and is always nice to see in pre-workouts. It has even been compared to straight Citrulline and gram per gram outperforms it for the purpose of pumps.
At 750mg, it is at half the dose we would like to see, however as we mentioned above, it is meant to be stacked with Vaso Fitt, and the two combined bring it to a 1.5 clinical dose.
VitaCholine™ – 500mg
VitaCholine is a newer ingredient, and it is Choline Bitartrate. While we do rip on Choline Bitartrate here on FI, as it does not cross the blood-brain barrier very well, however VitaCholine is a bit different. Due to the chemical structure, thus one can actually cross the blood-brain barrier well, and it is noticeable.
Choline converts to Acetylcholine in the brain, which is a neurotransmitter.
At 500mg, it is dosed well.
L-Tyrosine – 500mg
Tyrosine is one of our favorite ingredients here on FI, and it is one of the first ingredients we recommend for focus. It is a precursor to many neurotransmitters in the brains, inducing Dopamine. It has been shown to be beneficial for focus under stress.
At 500mg, you are getting an effective dose.
Caffeine Anhydrous – 400mg
Caffeine is pretty much a staple in all pre-workouts… besides the non-stim ones of course. No need to go too heavily into Caffeine, we all know what it does. It helps with energy and is probably the most effective ingredient to immediately help with performance.
400mg is on the higher side, however Caffeine is a very personal ingredient, so many will be able to handle this with no issue, while some others may want to start with a half-serving.
Halostachys Capsica (80% Halostachine) – 70mg
Halostachine is a popular ingredient, and it is a source of PEAs, an exotic stimulant. This can help energy, euphoria, and focus.
There is no real clinical dose of Halostachine, however 70mg at an 80% standardization is a fairly standard dose, although slightly lower than what you usually see on the market. With that said, it is not a bad thing.
Synephrine HCl – 40mg
Synephrine is a popular, safe ingredient, and is commonly used in fat burners. It acts as a very mild beta-agonist, and when combined with Caffeine may help with fat loss and energy.
At 40mg, it is dosed well Carnage.
AstraGin® – 25mg
AstraGin® is an ingredient from NuLiv, and is in a lot of ingredients these days. It may help with the absorption of certain ingredients, and it is nice to see in here.
At 25mg, it is dosed decently in Carnage.
BioPerine® – 5mg
BioPerine® is a trademarked form of Black Pepper Extract, which like AstraGin may help with absorption.
At 5mg, you are getting a solid dose in Carnage.
Yohimbe Root Extract – 2mg
Yohimbe is a strong one, and this ingredient is really going to give some people a strong boost in both energy and the jitters. Yohimbe is an alpha-2 receptor agonist, and is commonly found it fat loss supplements. It is quite a powerful ingredient and while it may help with energy for some, it can cause anxiety and jitters in others. At 2mg of Yohimbine HCl (what root is standardized for), it is dosed well in Carnage.
Rauwolfia Extract – 1mg
Rauwolfia Extract is a source for Alpha-Yohimbine, which is similar to the ingredient mentioned above. It is quite powerful and can also cause a strong boost in energy with jitters and anxiety. Either way, it works and with the combo of these two, you are certainly going to feel a strong boost in energy.
At 1mg it dosed well.
Final Takeaway
Carnage is a nice option for those who want a strong boost in energy. Not only does it have some great dosages, it simply makes for an enjoyable experience. We have to say, it is best when paired with Vaso Fitt, simply for the added pumps. With that said, the flavor is well done, and the Blood Cherry Lemonade is enjoyable. It is very refreshing, and the cherry does not overpower the lemonade. Certainly worth trying out at least once if you’re into strong pre-workouts.
