Panda Supps Pump

Panda Supps is an interesting brand that maybe you have yet to hear of. The brand has a plethora of supplements with everything from pre-workouts to proteins to greens and more. Their stim based pre-workout line may be their most popular, but their new stim-free pre-workout, Pump, may be their best.

When looking to find the right stim-free pre-workout and pump formula, you need to decide what is most important to you. Do you put emphasis more on blood flow? Or is it improved cognition? How about both? The new Panda Supps Pump stim-free pre-workout formula carefully and thoughtfully selected key ingredients to help improve both.

Panda Supps Pump Stim-Free Pre-Workout

So many consumers place an emphasis on caffeine and other stimulants in their pre-workout, when a stimulant free option may be exactly what they need. The issue we might find with many stim-free pre-workout products is that the formula is all over the place with real no rhyme or reason. Panda Supps Pump stim-free pre-workout does two things really well: increases blood flow and improves focus.

Users can start with a Panda Supps Pump SFP one scoop or two scoop serving size. Our recommendation is go big or go home, plus at the two scoop serving you are getting adequate dosages of key ingredients.

The formula starts with 10g of L-Citrulline Malate at a 2:1 ratio. This means 10g is going to yield approximately 6.67g of Citrulline and 3.33g of Malic Acid. Citrulline is one of the most effective ingredients at increasing nitric oxide production, thus improving blood flow. Malic Acid may help increase performance. You want to get 3-5g, minimum, of Citrulline to work effectively.

Betaine Anhydrous is dosed at 2.5g. Betaine has many benefits including improved performance output, strength and potential recovery benefits. The 2.5g dosage is great.

HydroPrime Glycerol is a branded version of glycerol. This is dosed at 1.5g. The idea behind glycerol is to help hold more liquid inside the muscles to aid with repair and recovery. However, most powdered versions of glycerol do not give us an adequate amount of glycerol to be effective.

Taurine is a common ingredient found in many supplements. It aids in electrolyte regulation and performance/longevity. When paired with caffeine, Taurine can actually help reduce the “negative” sides of caffeine like the jitters. The 1g dosage is great.

Alpha GPC, an effective nootropic ingredient, is dosed at 600mg. This yeilds 300mg of active Alpha GPC, which is what we look for. Alpha GPC is unique in that it crosses the blood brain barrier. At 600mg, Alpha GPC has been shown to improve performance and brain function.

Lion’s Mane, a mushroom, is dosed at 500mg. This is a great ingredient for improving cognition. The one issue with Lion’s Mane is it tastes awful (however Panda Supps Pump stim-free pre-workout tastes just fine). This could be considered a neuroprotective ingredient as it helps with cognitive function and cognitive decline without being a stimulatory ingredient. The 500mg dosage is the accepted dosage.

Pine Bark Extract is dosed at 250mg. Pine Bark Extract has been shown to improve nitric oxide and blood flow. It has been used in hypertension patients to lower blood pressure as well.

CognatiQ, also known as NeuroFactor, is dosed at 100mg. This ingredient is from FutureCeuticals. CognatiQ is clinically shown to significantly increase levels of a key neuroprotein (BDNF) vital to learning, memory, and higher thinking.

AstraGin, from NuLiv Science, is used at 50mg to help improve absorption and uptake.

The last ingredient, AmentoPump, is dosed at 50mg. AmentoPump is PDE inhibitor aka vasodilator. This allows for more blood flow into the muscles. We do typically see AmentoPump dosed between 250mg and 300mg, but there are other products on the market that use it at 50mg as well.

Overall, this formula really concentrates on improving blood flow through the use of key ingredients like Citrulline Malate and Pine Bark Extract while improving the mind muscle connection with the use of key ingredients like Alpha-GPC and Lion’s Mane Extract.

Final Takeaway

Panda Supps sent over both flavors for me to try. Unfortunately I could not get the cover off of Rainbow Dragonfruit so I went with Blackberry Lime. We will bring you a full review in due time, but first impressions of the flavor was it was great.

I do like the formula a lot. I am not sure the name is descriptive enough of this product. I would not have called it "PUMP" as I feel this does a much better job at improving cognition over increasing blood flow, although it does that well too. Don't look at this product as a pump product, look at it as a true non-stimulant pre-workout. If you workout late at night or you are trying to avoid caffeine/stimulants, this is a great option.

Panda Supps makes some good products. They also have a few products that do need to undergo changes, which I am told they are working on that. With that said, my perception of the brand is a good one. They create some really good formulas and are looking to improve others with 100% compliance, I can get behind that.
