Performix has officially announced that they will be jumping in the energy drink RTD category this spring. Performix SST Energy Seltzer will be launching this spring in three flavors: Lemon Lime, Mango and Blueberry Acai.
Don't let the word "seltzer" fool you; this is an alcohol-free seltzer containing 300mg caffeine per can. SST Energy Seltzer will also feature 500mg Taurine, 200mg L-Carnitine and 10mg Green Tea Extract. The brand has also let us know that there will be a nootropic blend of Lion's Mane and Theanine, as well as other ingredients.
There hasn't been an exact date for launch but the cans will be available in store for purchase as single cans and 12 packs.

I do think the word "seltzer" is a bit confusing as most will assume there is alcohol in this. Bang and Alani Nu both announced seltzers that do contain alcohol, so I think that may be hard for people to comprehend. At the end of the day this is an energy drink.
