RedCon1 is bringing back the classic Meal Replacement Packs with the announcement of Ration Pack coming Black Friday. Ration Pack will be a crossbreed between MRE and Ration powders, combining the quality protein from Ration and the carb sources from MRE.
RedCon1 CEO Aaron Singerman has always been fond of the MRP (meal replacement packs) and wanted to find a way to bring them to RedCon1. Per Aaron’s personal Facebook page, the entire RedCon1 team is excited:
I’m really excited and proud of this one! When Eric Hart and I look for white space in our industry, we’ve come back again and again to the meal replacement pack, MRP, and their former prevalence in the sport supplement space. There is no reason for them to have went away, as the demand for convenience as at an all-time high. We’ve taken the MRP to a whole new level by making the carb sources real good based.
Ration Packs will be available on Black Friday. RedCon1 will launch Ration Packs in two flavors: Blueberry Cobbler and Cookies and Cream. Each box will contain 20 single serve packs.
Ration Pack will be protein heavy, with a nice source of carbohydrates and minimal fat. As mentioned previously, Ration Packs are a mix between MRE and Ration. Each serving will contain 290 calories, 3.5g fat, 25g carbs and 40g protein. The protein will come from whey, same as Ration. The carbohydrates will come from oats, yam, and sweet potato, similar to MRE.
RedCon1 is planning for their biggest Black Friday event ever with big discounts, free swag and a bunch of new product launches. You can expect an entire weekend of deals from RedCon1.

Fitness Informant's POV
Aaron had texted us saying that we weren't ready for what they had coming. So far, he isn't wrong. RedCon1 is launching more new products on Black Friday than most brands do in an entire year. Ration Packs is a good idea as I remember how popular these items were "back in the day." In the age of grab-and-go and convenience, these just make sense to me.
