GI Juice is RedCon1’s greens and digestive enzyme powder. This delicious powder contains 11.25g of greens, and less than 1g of digestive enzymes. We start with 11.25g of Greens Blend containing many good-for-you fruits and greens like Camu Camu, Acai, Broccoli, Sweet Potato, Kelp and more. There are some funny ingredients you have never heard of like Fructooligosaccharides, which are artificial sweeteners. Overall, the blend is a decent blend using some nice ingredients like the ones mentioned above as well as other unique ones like Chlorella.
The Digestive Enzyme complex contains 10 ingredients. I am going to quickly break them down below:
Betaine HCl 250mg: according to WebMD, it is used in products as a “stomach acidifier and digestive aid.”
Amylase 100mg: helps break down starches and carbs into sugars
Protease 100mg: enzymes that catalyze the breakdown of proteins
Pepsin 50mg: helps digest proteins
Papain 50mg: aids in digestion
Pancreatin 50mg: treats digestive problems
Ox Bile 30mg: aids in the digestion of fats in the small intestines
Lipase 25mg: helps body digest fats
Bromelain 10mg: helps body digest fats
Cellulase 10mg: converts cellulose into glucose or a disaccharide

Effectiveness

If you don’t eat fruits and vegetables now, a powder will be effective for you. It would be a 10 out of 10 actually. Drinking it reminds me of the all-inclusive resorts in Mexico, no, not the alcohol, but the fresh pineapple and fruits you get at the buffet. If you do leave it sit for a few minutes you will notice a lot of particles will settle at the bottom of the cup. I used about 12-16oz of water and this was a common issue.
