Whey Protein Concentrate is a high quality source of protein that tends to provide better flavoring and mouth feel for the consumer. WPC can be as low as 34% to 80%. WPC34 means that it contains more than 34% whey protein while WPC80 contains more than 80% whey protein. A company the size of Cellucor sources WPC80 which is the highest quality of Whey Protein Concentrate you can have. WPC does contain slight amounts of lactose, but generally are consumed without any implications from consumers.

The second form of protein comes from the faster absorbing Whey Protein Isolate. Whey Protein Isolate (WPI) is more than 90% whey protein. WPI generally has all lactose removed and minimal fats and carbs. WPI tends to mix slightly better and is slightly faster at digesting and absorption.
