Glaxon is back once again, and this time they have launched an exciting new GDA supplement. Their old version called Cheat was already solid, but if you know Glaxon, you know that every product is a beta-sample to an even better formula.
GDAs are a rather interesting category when it comes to supplements. While not as popular as some other categories, we feel it should be. GDA stands for glucose disposal agent, which are meant to aid with healthy blood sugar levels. Some are quite powerful actually, and Xerion is certainly one of them.
With the recent launch of Xerion, we have decided to go take a closer look and see what it contain, and how it may actually help you.
Ingredient Profile
Pep2Dia (Milk Protein Hydrolysate) – 1400mg
The first ingredient in Xerion is Pep2Dia, which is known as AP dipeptide. This is derived from milk protein, and inhibits the enzyme alpha glucosidase.
To keep it simple, it limits the formation of complex sugars into glucose, which in turn lowers glucose levels in the blood.
At 1400mg, you are getting a solid dose.
Dihydroberberine (GlucoVantage) – 300mg
Berberine is a common ingredient in GDAs, and for good reason. It has some good research supporting it, and it is probably the most common ingredients in GDAs these days. Well not we have something better, known as GlucoVantage. This is a metabolite of berberine, and is sometimes called “Super Berberine”.
It is quite powerful on its own, and easier on the stomach for many people when compared to regular Berberine.
At 300mg, you are getting a powerful dose of it.
BioNMN – 250mg
BioNMN is a trademarked ingredient known as Beta-Nicotinamide Mononucleotide. Quite the mouthful, but it is certainly an interesting ingredient.
NMN has been shown to aid with type 2 diabetes in mice, and has several other longevity benefits.
You get 250mg of it in here.
BioPerine – 5mg
BioPerine is a trademarked form of Black Pepper Extract, and is a source of Piperine. It can help with the absorption of some ingredients, and is a great addition to this product.
At 5mg, you are getting a solid dose.
Final Takeaway
Glaxon knows what they’re doing, that is for sure. Cheat was already good, now they have something even better. We like the approach, not just with the high quality forms of ingredients, but you’re not seeing any a bunch of the same. No Cinnamon, Bitter Melon, Gymnema Sylvestre, and the other usual suspects. They simply have 4 ingredients that all serve their purpose.
