Earlier this week we released our Way-Too-Early Look at the 2019 Brand of the Year Award Nominees. On that list was a brand that may have surprised you: MuscleSport. You should no longer be surprised. MuscleSport has officially announced it will be carried in Vitamin Shoppe stores nationwide starting the week of 2/11/2019.
MuscleSport's business model was built on supporting the brick and mortar stores. Their pricing on their website is intentionally higher so consumers go into a retail store to buy the brand at a much more affordable price. That model isn't changing, it is only growing with the announcement that Vitamin Shoppe will now carry the brand.
MuscleSport makes top-of-the-line supplements including their Lean Whey Protein and their new Rhino Black Series. With this agreement it will now be easier than ever to purchase the brand.
With the deal, it appears that the products will have to be sold on Vitamin Shoppe's official website. This is also an attraction for the consumers who do not like to go into stores.

MuscleSport was really only available on their website and Amazon (to help control pricing). Now, it will be widely available and more people can experience this brand. We are fans of MuscleSport. They have a lot of big things coming in 2019, and with their agreement with Vitamin Shoppe more people can experience the brand and realize why they made our Way-Too-Early Nominees for the 2019 Brand of the Year.
