They are calling it the first “smart thermo” powder in the industry. MuscleTech will be the first brand to feature Enfinity Paraxanthine in their upcoming fat burner called BURN iQ. MuscleTech will also feature the ingredient in their upcoming pre-workout called EUPHORiQ.
BURN iQ from MuscleTech contains 300mg (per 2-scoops) of Enfinity Paraxanthine. Paraxanthine is one of three metabolites of caffeine. The other two are theobromine and theophylline. Paraxanthine accounts for about 80% of the make-up of caffeine, and it is the primary metabolite engaging the central nervous system. It is also said that Paraxanthine does not have any of the negative “side effects” of caffeine such as the jitters. Another benefit of Enfinity is it bypasses the metabolic inconsistencies of caffeine from user to user.
In addition to 300mg Enfinity Paraxanthine, MuscleTech’s BURN iQ features other key ingredients that may aid in weight loss and improved focus. The formula contains 3g of L-Carnitine-L-Tartrate. This is a great dosage of an ingredient that may aid in energy production and an increase in metabolism.
Tyrosine is dosed at 1.5g. This is a cognitive enhancement ingredient dosed very well.
Taurine is used at a full gram to aid in electrolyte regulation as well as potential endurance improvement.
Coleus Extract is dosed at 200mg, standardized to 10% forskolin. Forskolin has been shown to increase cAMP which can increase fat loss.
Grains of Paradise is dosed at 40mg. This ingredient has been called the “spicy” ingredient but it can increase body temperatures.
aXivite, another branded ingredient, is dosed at 30mg. This is standardized to 1% Phenylcapsaicin. Studies have shown, when compared to a placebo, that Phenylcapsaicin can reduce body fat and improve gut health.
Black Pepper Extract is dosed at 10.5mg. This helps with absorption. The last ingredient is 10mcg of Huperzine-A for focus.
MuscleTech’s BURN iQ will be available in Sweet Heat and Mango Chili Lime flavors.
BURN iQ will launch on September 19, 2022.
Final Takeaway
I spoke about this on the pre-workout article, I am excited to try this ingredient in this formula. I do like this fat burning formula as well. The use of Paraxanthine is interesting and intriguing. I am a fan of Grains of Paradise and Phenlycapsaicin. Time will tell how this works, but I think on paper it is solid. The flavors may be a miss for some, but with Grains in Phenlycapsaicin they make 100% sense.
