Performix has officially launched their second product under their new look and feel of the brand. Superhuman Recovery from Performix is now available at GNC in two flavors: Midnight Punch and Cherry Limeade.
Performix Superhuman Recovery combines several muscle recovery ingredients into a post-workout powder. The formula starts with 4g of 2:1:1 BCAA. BCAAs help reduce delayed onset muscle soreness through increased muscle protein synthesis and mTOR activation. Creatine Monohydrate is used at 3g. Creatine is needed to help restore creatine levels in the body for ATP production. Creatine also leads to lean mass gains and strength improvements. Superhuman Recovery also includes five other EAAs in Lysine, Threonine, Methionine, Phenylalanine and Tryptophan. We are missing Histidine. We get just over 2.2g of those EAAs per serving.
Superhuman Recovery uses Lepidamax from Nutrition 21 at 700mg. Lepidamax has been shown to increase overall performance. Superhuman Recovery also uses Vineatrol 20 at 50mg. Vineatrol is obtained from the young grapevine shoots and immature leaves. Benefits of Vineatrol include an anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and has been shown to dilate the vascular system through eNOS stimulation. Wild Blueberry Fruit powder is used for the anti-oxidant impact at 100mg. Lastly, Phellodendron Bark Extract is used at 500mcg. This has been shown to be an anti-inflammatory.
Collectively these ingredients should aid in improving recovery time and decreasing muscle soreness and inflammation.
Superhuman Recovery is available at GNC for $44.99 for 30-servings. You can buy it here.

Fitness Informant's POV
We've had a chance to use this several times now. We first used it at the Performix House in NYC. The brand sent us a unit of each flavor. We do like the addition of the anti-inflammatories in this product that you typically don't find in post-workout recovery powders. You find some unique ingredients in Superhuman Recovery you don't find in many products at all like Vineatrol and Lepidamax.
We will publish a full review after a use of a full container is completed. Sign-up above for an alert when that becomes available.
