Primeval Labs Mega Pre Black Is Back With Slight Formula Changes

Primeval Labs Mega Pre Black New

Primeval Labs has revived its popular pre-workout Mega Pre Black and has made it available again for purchase with slight formula changes. Earlier this year Primeval Labs replaced that version of Mega Pre Black with Mega Pre Red. The brand thought it was time to bring back one of their #1 sellers.

Mega Pre Black labelThe new/updated formula sees some positive changes to make the powerhouse pre-workout even more effective. Primeval Labs kept Caffeine Anhydrous at 325mg, but decreased Dynamine from 325mg to 250mg, which will yield 100mg of Dynamine, the recommended dosage. The new version of Mega Pre Black also dropped the 300mg L-Norvaline, which is a controversial ingredient as several studies have come out showing it may negatively impact brain function.

The updated version of Mega Pre Black adds 150mg of TeaCrine to go well with the 250mg Dynamine. This, in combination with the 325mg caffeine, should provide longer lasting energy and improved focus without the crash. Primeval Labs decided to add Pine Bark Extract at 200mg for improved pumps.

The new/updated version still uses ElevATP at 150mg, Di-Caffeine Malate at 68mg and Huperzine A at 100mcg.

The updated version of Mega Pre Black is available in five flavors: Cranberry Grape, Gummy Bear, Rainbow Sherbet, Strawberry Pineapple and Orangutan Juice.

The new version of Mega Pre Black is now available for purchase at the Primeval Labs’ website for $44.99. Customers can use coupon code MPB30 to save 30%

Fitness Informant's POV

People missed this one. I like the changes and updates they made to the formula. I don't mind Dynamine coming down as GRAS data (generally regarded as safe) is 104mg. The Dynamine in the updated formula is 100mg, which will allow Mega Pre Black to get into retailers like Bodybuilding.com. I love the addition of TeaCrine as well.

Regarding Norvaline, I think the jury is still out, but the potential risk was something that Primeval didn't want to deal with, so I don't have any issues with the removal of this. I also like the addition of Pine Bark.

I have used this and I loved the energy. The combination of caffeine, Dynamine and TeaCrine provides a long lasting energy without the crash. The focus and pumps were good too.
