Protein Puppy Chow

For our Protein Puppy Chow recipe, we elected to go with the Hazel Nutter variation.

There's several key differences to our recipe of Puppy Chow than the one you're used too. First, we used dark chocolate chips versus the semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips. These are better overall in terms of nutrition and also hearth-healthy with natural theobromine. Instead of plain peanut butter or Nutella, we used Grenade's Carb Killa Protein Spread which has a higher content of protein with all the great taste of Nutella. We also went with just a plain version of rice cereal. Others use honey variations or corn, but straight rice cereal is your best bet. Finally, instead of powdered sugar, which will spike your insulin levels, we coated our Puppy Chow in protein powder. You can choose what brand and what flavor of protein powder you want to use.
