Differentiating your products is always a key driver for brands. Bucked Up was able to do that with Drive Hydration by putting a hydration formula in a 16oz can, but also by focusing on the formula. Users will get key electrolyte like sodium and potassium, but they will also get a boost of energy with 50mg caffeine and added GeniusPure® from NNB Nutrition.

The formula itself contains several active ingredients that can boost hydration, performance, energy and cognition. Due to this being a beverage, not all of the dosages of the ingredients are disclosed but we will take a deeper dive into key ingredients used in the formula below.

Electrolyes

Bucked Up Drive Hydration is a hydration formula, therefore it does contain key electrolytes. Per each 16oz can you get a nearly 1:1 ratio of sodium to potassium. Added Himalayan Pink Salt is added to the formula alongside sodium acid sulfate to give users 260mg of sodium. Sodium is the electrolyte that regulates fluid balance in the body. Sodium helps your body hold onto water by pulling water into the blood stream. Sodium supports nerve signaling and muscle contractions.

Potassium is another key electrolyte that users are getting at 210mg. Potassium is the counterbalance to sodium. Collectively they help regulate fluid balance. Potassium helps inside the cells, while sodium helps outside of the cells (bloodstream). Sodium aids ensuring liquid is available for the cells while potassium helps actually pull the fluid into the cells. Potassium is key for preventing muscle cramping and plays a key role in muscle contractions.

The formula also contains calcium and zinc, two other important electrolytes for muscle contraction and relaxation.

Beta-Alanine

Bucked Up Drive Hydration does contain beta-alanine. Beta-alanine is the ingredient commonly known for causing paresthesia, the tingling feeling of the skin. The benefit of beta-alanine is it can buffer lactic acid which improve muscle endurance and performance. It can also aid in preventing muscle soreness post exercise.

Glycine

Glycine is added to this formula to aid with fluid balance. It works alongside the electrolytes to ensure your body stays properly hydrated. Glycine helps your body utilize fluid more efficiently. Glycine may also provide a cognitive benefit and a sense of calm.

GeniusPure® Alpha-GPC

GeniusPure® Alpha-GPC is the hero ingredient used in Bucked Up Drive Hydration. Unlike most generic alpha-gpc ingredients which yield 50% alpha-GPC, GeniusPure® Alpha-GPC yields 70% or 90% alpha-gpc, dependent on which version is chosen. To put that into perspective, a 100mg dosage of generic alpha-GPC will give the user only 50mg of actual active alpha-GPC. While that same dosage of GeniusPure® Alpha-GPC will yield 70-90mg of active alpha-GPC. GeniusPure® Alpha-GPC is also 99% pure powder. This means you can actually use a smaller does of GeniusPure® Alpha-GPC to obtain the same, if not better, benefits of a larger dosage of generic alpha-GPC.

Alpha-GPC is considered the king of choline molecules. It can cross the blood brain barrier, is highly bioavailable and rapidly increases acetylcholine. It is best for boosting cognition and performance.

During one study, supplementing with 350mg and 700mg of GeniusPure® Alpha-GPC versus generic alpha-GPC and CDP choline (500mg and 1000mg), GeniusPure® Alpha-GPC showed cognitive improvements with a single dose, while the other forms did not. GeniusPure® Alpha-GPC also showed psychomotor vigilance, the relationship between cognitive function and movement. While generic alpha-GPC and CDP choline did improve cognitive function in older or disease state populations only, GeniusPure® Alpha-GPC improved focus and cognition in healthy 20-52 year olds as part of the 20 participant study.

During a Stroop Test, a psychological test used to measure attention, processing speed, and cognitive control, GeniusPure® Alpha-GPC improved cognitive function by 150% in the 700mg dosage group and 108% in the 350mg dosage group.

Bucked Up Drive Hydration does include 50mg of caffeine from a natural source in Innovabean. This is comparable to a can of soda. The addition of caffeine can actually enhance the effects of GeniusPure® Alpha-GPC.

L-Theanine
