GHOST Legend All Out V2 Pre-Workout: Added Nitrates for More Pump

GHOST continues to evolve their current product line. The brand has decided to upgrade their high stimulant pre-workout GHOST Legend All Out to version two featuring more full yield ingredients and nitrates as well as added PureWay C vitamin C.

GHOST Legend All Out V2 comes about two years after the first iteration hit marketing. Version two will be available in four flavors: Blue Raspberry, Orange Cream, Cherry Limeade and Warheads Sour Green Apple.

In typical GHOST fashion, the brand is going to give you more as a consumer in the formulation but keep the price point the same.

GHOST Legend All Out V2 Supplement Facts

GHOST has decided to upgrade their higher stimulant pre-workout in Legend All Out to include more full yield ingredients and PureWay C vitamin C. The brand has brought after many of the great things from V1 as well but just added to it to give the consumer more value for their dollar.

Full Yield Citrulline – 6g

Returning to GHOST Legend All Out V2 is their full yield Citrulline. This includes pure Citrulline and Citrulline Nitrate. This gives users a full 6g dosage of Citrulline with additional NO3-T nitrates for improved blood flow.

Citrulline has quickly become one of the most used ingredients in dietary performance supplements. Citrulline is the precursor to Arginine. It helps increase Arginine in the body and triggers a nitric oxide response to increase blood flow.

Full Yield Beta-Alanine – 3.2g

Full yield Beta-Alanine is new to Legend All Out V2. This gives consumers the efficacious dosage of Beta-Alanine at 3.2g, but you also get additional nitrations from the addition of Beta-Alanine Nitrates, the first we’ve seen here at FI.

Beta-Alanine is one of the most popular ingredients used in pre-workouts. It is popular because it is well studied, well backed and it gives consumers a “feeling” that they know they just took a pre-workout. That feeling is called paresthesia, the tingling of the skin. This is not the primary benefit of Beta-Alanine.

Beta-Alanine actually can buffer lactic acid which may reduce muscle soreness. In turn, Beta-Alanine can improve muscular endurance allowing you to go longer in the gym.

Full Yield Betaine – 2.5g

Much like Citrulline and Beta-Alanine, GHOST has elected to go with a full yield Betaine. This includes 2.5g Betaine Anhydrous as well as more NO3-T nitrates.

Betaine Anhydrous is a proven ingredient that has been shown to improve/increase performance in the gym through increased strength and output. Some studies also suggest that Betaine Anhydrous can aid in recovery.

The 2,500mg dosage is perfect for this ingredient.

L-Tyrosine – 2,000mg

L-Tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid (one that the body can produce on its own) and precursor to both our “feel good” neurotransmitter dopamine and noradrenaline. It is one of the most popular nootropic compounds in the supplement industry and has been shown to increase cognition during bouts of acute stress, such as exercising.

Tyrosine will provide a slight euphoric feeling that us gym rats absolutely adore, and it is becoming increasingly common to see supra-therapeutic doses of it in a pre-workout formula.

The 2,000mg dosage is great.

Alpha-GPC – 600mg

Alpha-GPC is a tried and tested form of choline that improves memory, focus and mood. It can easily cross the blood-brain barrier to be one of the best choline sources you can get for memory.

Alpha-GPC is one of the most effective forms of choline for increasing acetylcholine levels, a neurotransmitter involved in learning, memory, and muscle contraction. Higher acetylcholine levels can improve the mind-muscle connection, helping you focus on muscle engagement and movement during training.

Alpha GPC dosages typically yield 50% choline. In this case we get a dosage of 600mg but a yield of 300mg, which is what we want when we look for Alpha GPC dosing.

Caffeine Anhydrous – 300mg

Caffeine comes in two forms again in GHOST Legend All Out V2. You get 300mg of Caffeine Anhydrous. This is the fast acting caffeine that hits within 10-15 minutes of taking. Caffeine supplementation helps prevent and fight against fatigue.

zumXR Extended Release Caffeine – 100mg

zumXR is used again in GHOST Legend All Out V2. This extended release caffeine aids in providing longer lasting anti-fatigue support and prevents the “crash” some users may get from caffeine anhydrous.

PureWay-C – 390mg

PureWay Vitamin C is a high bioavailable form of Vitamin C. The 390mg dosage is new to this pre-workout. PureWay Vitamin C may help improve immunity and could lead to better, fuller pumps. This is the highest dosage GHOST has used in a product.

Theobromine – 100mg

Theobromine is back at 100mg in Legend V4. This was the same dosage as Legend V3. Theobromine is a metabolite of caffeine and may have some energy implications very similar to caffeine. Theobromine can help increase energy, alertness and body temperature (thermogenesis).

The 100mg dosage is acceptable.

Bitter Orange Extract – 60mg

Bitter Orange, also known as Synephrine, is considered a stimulant that can improve your focus, alertness, and thermogenesis. Using Bitter Orange will lead to increase body temperature. In addition it does stimulant the CNS (central nervous system) to help improve alertness and energy levels.

AstraGin – 50mg

AstraGin from Nuliv Science is an ingredient used to help increase the absorption of the active ingredients in the formula. Nuliv recommends 50mg dosage per serving.

Final Takeaway

Not shocked after speaking to the team at GHOST that they are continuing to add value to their current products to give consumers the best bang for their buck. I love the add of the full yield Cirulline, Beta-Alanine and Betaine. Very unique to GHOST and very cool. The add of PureWay C is nice to have as well.
