Dust Extreme is the popular pre-workout by Blackstone Labs that includes DMAA. The FDA warned many supplement manufacturers to pull DMAA from their products and off the shelves. Blackstone Labs ignored this request and continues to sell a lot of Dust Extreme.

Dust Extreme’s claims to be a high intensity energy pre-workout are backed by the usage of the product. We do not recommend using Dust Extreme daily, but when you do use it you do get that extra kick you’re looking for when it comes to a DMAA based PWO. We first start by looking at it’s ingredient profile. This portion of the review looks at the different ingredients used in the pre-workout, what their intention is and how effectively dosed are each ingredient.

We then look at effectiveness. An effective pre-workout will use high quality, proven ingredients, at clinically backed dosages.  This is generally an extension of the profile section. The higher quality ingredients used at proper dosages, the more effective that product will be.

Then we move into the taste of the different flavors we’ve tried. We grade each flavor separately and average the scores for their overall taste rating. We were able to test out the following flavors: Pineapple Mango.

Mixability refers to how well the powder mixes in 12oz of water. We use the shaker bottle test. This would be your typical Blender Bottle with the spiral chrome ball.

Finally, we talk about value. Value is the combination of profile, effectiveness, taste and mixability in relation to cost. Ingredients Profile

(8/10)[/vc_column_text][divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”20″][vc_column_text]Dust Extreme’s main ingredient in their profile that stands out to the consumer is the 75mg of DMAA. This attracts a lot of people. This also has 350mg of Caffeine Anhydrous which can really get an energy rush (this is the equivalent of 3.5 cups of coffee) so to us this is a bit much for a full-serving.

You can always back it down to 1/2 serving and make it last longer. It does include 2.5g of Beta Alanine which is essential in a pre-workout so great job there. We like the inclusion of Agmatine Sulfate which gives you a good pump (nitric oxide) but it also is an antioxidant and has other benefits when it comes to insulin.

Effectiveness

I wouldn’t recommend taking this daily but on days that you really need that extra kick. Grab this out of your supplement cupboard and feel the rush! Taste

PRE Extreme is drank quickly, or at least it should, but the flavor we tried was amazing. Mixability

I started out at 184.6lbs on a 30-day cycle of Brutal 4ce. When I finished the 30-day cycle I was at 193.6lbs. ARE YOU KIDDING? No I am not. My weight went up (sure some of this is from the water withholding), my strength increased (at the time I set my squat PR with ease) and my overall size looked more full. Compared to our review on Superdrol I only had to take one cycle of this to achieve my goals.

My aggression in the gym increased along with my strength and size. I kept finding myself wanted to always do one more set. My libido did not feel any affects from this product. Increased blood flow into your muscles is how you gain muscle and burn fat. As a person who has taken many different pre-workouts throughout the years it is hard for me to find one that actually does what it says, especially for a person like me who doesn’t feel the effects from pre-workouts as much as I used too. Within 20 minutes of taking DVST8 you notice right away that you become laser focused at the task at hand, to lift long and hard.

You do not get the jitters or that sudden rush of energy you might get with other pre-workouts. Don’t be confused; however, this pre-workout does give you the energy you need to push through a workout. It is a gradual energy that gets better the longer you lift. Mixability

Mixability was OK. I did notice that there was some residue left over after mixing that goes to the bottom but nothing a little more water cannot take care of. As is with taste I don’t expect pre-workouts to be amazing at mixability since you essentially chug the drink 30-40 minutes prior to your exercise. Ingredients Profile

Superdrol uses DHEA proponents to make up their formula of this product. The first ingredient, 4-Andro (4-DHEA), uses a 2-stage conversion process to testosterone in the body so there is a chance that it will never convert to actual testosterone but typically results are good.

This also is non-toxic, a fear with many prohormones on your liver. It increases red bloods cells which gives you a fuller pump while training. Water retention is also high but gains in size and strength are unparalleled.

The second ingredient, 1-Andro, also known as 1-DHEA, is very similar to 4-Andro in that it is non-toxic to your liver. You will not get the water retention or the weight gain with this ingredient but you will get the lean muscle mass. The third and fourth ingredients allow you to become more dense and an increased muscle hardness.

The next ingredient, 6-oxo, allows the body to retain glycogen which leads to increase weight gain and strength. The next ingredient which we cannot pronounce helps decrease myostatin which is a protein that limits muscle growth. The final ingredient puts your body in an anabolic state which enhances the strength of the prohormone. I typically do not do a lot of 1RM in the gym or PRs but on this cycle I thought it would be a good idea to test my limits. After the use of the two cycles I put on 8 lbs of lean muscle mass getting up to 194 lbs. My body fat dropped down to 11.8%!

As far as strength goes I was dead lifting 465 lbs, benching 225 lbs with ease (I never PRed) and squatting 450 lbs for the first time in my life. Lastly I wanted to touch on libido…many fear this might be altered on a prohormone but I did not feel any negative or positive effect on me. You get 42 tablets per bottle so at two tablets a day you get 21 days or four weeks. Four weeks is OK but eight weeks is better. So plan on spending $120 for a good cycle of this. That seems like a lot of money on the surface but if gaining 8 lbs of muscle while decreasing my body fat to under 12% is any indication this works. There are SARMS and other prohormones out there that can be similar in terms of effectiveness.

On-top-of the accepted ratio, TRI-PEP uses peptide bonds to form this great intra-workout supplement. The one issue we have with the BCAAs here is we are fairly confident they are not fermented, meaning they can come from things like bird feathers and human hair.

By using peptide bonds with the isoleucine, leucine, and valine you are getting a pharmaceutical grade BCAA product OTC. This portion of the review looks at the amount of aminos used, as well as the kind of aminos, the ratio and other ingredients involved in the making of this BCAA powder.

We then look at effectiveness. A high BCAA product will be effective. This is generally an extension of the profile section. The higher quality ingredients used at proper dosages, the more effective that product will be.

Then we move into the taste of the different flavors we’ve tried. We grade each flavor separately and average the scores for their overall taste rating. We were able to test out the following flavors: Huricane Orange & Red Lemonade.

Mixability refers to how well the powder mixes in 12oz of water. We use the shaker bottle test. This would be your typical Blender Bottle with the spiral chrome ball.

Finally, we talk about value. Value is the combination of profile, effectiveness, taste and mixability in relation to cost. Ingredients Profile

No one can complain with that. It uses 500mg of an energy matrix derived from green tea, white tea, l-carnatine, theobromine and phosphotidylcholine. You’re energy matrix really comes from the first three but the label doesn’t specify how much of each you get, which is disappointing to me.

For me, I like the use of caffeine in an energy matrix, the label here does not show that. The use of peptide bonds is great as you get a higher sense of hydration while using this product. Lastly the 1g of glutamine is a nice addition but not enough to do what glutamine is supposed to do. Effectiveness

I would use this product throughout the day as I am not a fan of coffee so the energy matrix was what I was looking for while helping alleviate that muscle soreness. Mixability

We used a Blender Bottle, and we would have to shake it up every time before we took a drink because it wouldn’t fully dissolve into the liquid. If left set for several minutes you could see it settle at the bottom of the bottle. That is great. If you want more BCAA per serving then you’d have to go with two scoops to get 10g which then would cut your servings in half.

Studies suggest you should take in about 9g of BCAA per 100 lbs. I would need about 4 scoops a day to reach that level which cuts down on your servings.
