Apollon Nutrition has officially launched a brand new flavor of their 50/50 Formula-X protein powder: Mango Lassi. For those who aren't familiar with Mango Lassi flavor (myself included), I took the liberty of reaching out to Apollon owner Rob whom described the flavor profile as a "combination of mango, yogurt, and cardamom." This highly unique flavor is inspired by the Hindu festival of lights, known as Diwali.
50/50 Formula-X is a unique protein blend comprised of almost equal parts whey protein isolate and micellar casein protein; precisely 12.5g whey protein isolate vs 11.5g micellar casein protein. The combination of the two creates a smooth consistency and also provides a thicker texture than traditional whey protein blends; all while still delivering 24g total protein.
As of November 11th 10AM EST, Mango Lassi 50/50 is available for retail and currently priced at $49.95 per Apollon's website.

Final Takeaway
While I have personally not been able to try this flavor yet, I can attest to the fact that Apollon nails their protein flavors. I recently reviewed Caramel Macchiato 50/50 Formula-X, and as a fellow coffee connoisseur, I can proudly say that flavor was bussin. I myself enjoy casein protein blends, as they typically make for a more ideal consistency when it comes to overnight protein oats and protein sludge. Mango Lassi is one of the more unique protein flavors that's been released this year, and I cannot wait to get my hands on it and give it the official one sip review.
