While the price on raw goods to make whey protein continues to increase, one brand has decided to permanently reduce the price on their protein to an everyday low price structure.
MuscleSport will now sell their two pound tubs of Lean Whey protein for $47.99 a tub. This is a price reduction from $69.99. No other discounts can be applied with this EDLP model.
Lean Whey continues to rank in the top for flavoring and quality. Customers can now purchase their Lean Whey direct from MuscleSport.com for $47.99.
Final Takeaway
Many of the questions we got on MuscleSport was about their price. Historically the brand priced products on their website higher, intentionally, to support brick and mortar retailers. However, with the increase in D2C traffic, the brand needed to be competitive. Many brands are raising prices on protein, MucleSport was able to signifcantly lower their online price by over $20 a unit.
