RedCon1 Gaming

RedCon1 is getting into the popular gaming market. RedCon1 recently secured the Instagram handle @redcon1_gaming for the new division. The IG account is being followed by RedCon1 CEO Aaron Singerman and other employees of the RedCon1 team.

RedCon1 GamingRedCon1 Gaming will be the third big venture for the brand outside of their sports nutrition line. RedCon1 Outdoors launched earlier this year. That division is being ran by Terry Houin, a retired US Navy Seal. The second big venture for RedCon1 was the RedCon1 Gym in Boca Raton, FL. RedCon1 Gaming will be the third big addition in 2019.

What we do know is the brand plans to get into gaming in a big way. The brand is already looking at securing some of the top gamers in the world to be “athletes” for the brand.

E-Gaming has becoming one of the fastest growing sectors in entertainment. Recent reports suggest that in 2018, the industry surpassed $900 million (up from $493 in 2016). Large TV networks like ESPN picking up E-Gaming Tournaments due to their increasing popularity. Twitch, a large social media streaming platform for gamers, has over 15 million daily active users. These numbers keep rising forcing companies to look to the gaming industry as a lucrative business option.

Fitness Informant's POV

With the RedCon1 brand, and the popularity of games such as Call of Duty, I think this is a brilliant move. RedCon1 is quickly becoming a household name in sports nutritional supplements, but venturing outside that $40 billion industry is a smart move before others do it first. RedCon1's brand would fit well with some of the top gamers in the world who play specific games that speak to the RedCon1 brand. I am very interested in seeing what the RedCon1 team does with this new division.
