It's been nearly 18-months since GHOST teamed up with General Mills to launch a lineup of high protein cereals. The General Mills iconic brands of Cocoa Puffs, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Lucky Charms made their way onto retail shelves across the country, but one iconic brand was missing. Until now. GHOST will launch Trix high protein cereal in collaboration with General Mills in early 2027.
GHOST protein cereals contain 17g of protein per serving from a blend of milk protein concentrate, soy protein isolate and whey protein concentrate. The Trix version also contains 160 calories, 7g fat and 11g of carbohydrates.
GHOST Trix protein cereal will launch via the brand's website October 28th and will start to flow out into national retailers like Walmart and Kroger in early 2027.

I will be honest, I don't use protein cereals to get my protein intake. I may use them more as an on-the-go snack when and if needed. With that said, anytime you fortify something with added protein it never tastes like the real thing. Cinnamon Toast Crunch GHOST cereal is their number one selling SKU in the protein cereal line-up, but I think we can all agree that the real Cinnamon Toast Crunch is superior to the protein version. With that said, Trix is the one cereal GHOST has launched that I think closest resembles the sugar loaded alternative. The berry flavoring is nearly spot on making it a good choice for those who love fruity cereal.
