Plasm Surge from Glaxon will officially get its third facelift since it became a product. Glaxon released the newest version of Plasm Surge, Plasm Surge V3, in three flavors, Naked, Pineapple Lemonade and Sour Gummy. The current version of Plasm Surge was due for an upgrade, and Glaxon did just that.
Glaxon Plasm Surge V3
Brands need to keep their top tier products relevant, and one way to accomplish that is to update when and where it was needed. Glaxon recognized new ingredients on the market that would benefit their non-stim blood flow agent, Plasm Surge, and they proceeded to update the formula.
The updated formula in V3 makes several changes which we will address here. But let’s first talk about the things that remained unchanged.
Glaxon Plasm Surge V3 continues to use 6g of Citrulline. Citrulline converts to arginine in the body which improves nitric oxide and blood flow. Arginine is also still used in V3, however Glaxon did improve the dosage from 1,200mg to 2,000mg. Astrolyte is still used but again at a larger dosage. The old version of Plasm Surge had 1,550mg Astrolyte and V3 uses 1,770mg. Setria (Glutahione) is still used at 200mg. Glutathione, when combined with Citrulline or Arginine, may protect against the oxidative reduction of nitric oxide.
Plasm Surge V2 had several ingredients no longer found in the updated formula. V2 had L-Ornithine HCl and VasoDrive-AP. L-Orinithine HCl helped fight fatigue while VasoDrive-AP may increase blood flow.
Plasm V3 does include new ingredients that can help improve blood flow and performance. Beta Alanine was added to V3. This helps make Plasm Surge more of a non-stim pre-workout than just strictly pump. Nitrosigine was added at the clincal dosage of 1,500mg. Nitrosigine has been proven to be as effective as 8g Citrulline Malate as improving blood flow. Amla Extract (standardized to 50% Capros) is dosed at 250mg. This ingredient has been shown to have potential cardiovascular benefits. Lastly, V3 includes 5mg of PQQ (Pyrroloquinoline Quinone). This can help improve energy and reduce fatigue.
The biggest takeaway on Plasm V3 is that it is more than just a blood flow agent, but a true non-stimulant pre-workout powder. The updates to the formula transitioned this product to reach more people with wider goals.

Final Takeaway
I have not had a chance to use this, but I really do like the changes (improvement). Yes, sometimes you want straight pump, but I think Glaxon did the right thing by making this more of a non-stimulant pre-workout than just a blood flow agent. Stacking this with Specimen Genesis will be great.
