Core Extreme Nutrition is back on our radar with their first-to-market innovative BCAA product designed to get you shredded. Core Extreme Nutrition is what we called a quiet company doing loud things. This BCAA product falls into that category too.
BCAA Shredded uses some ingredients we are not prone to seeing in a BCAA product. That is a good thing. InnoSlim and ActiGin from Nuliv Science is utilized with InstaAminos, all patent ingredients to make an epic BCAA, the only issue is taste which makes it hard to drink and finish. If Core can fix the taste, they have a helluva product in BCAA Shredded.

Ingredients Profile
[/vc_column_text][divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”20″][vc_column_text]Core Extreme Nutrition doesn’t shy away from trademark ingredients. That’s a good thing. With BCAA Shredded they stick to that promise and provide some really high quality ingredients.We start with a 2:1:1 ratio BCAA from InstaAminos. This is a Compound Solutions ingredient. This is the right ratio, in my opinion, for optimal recovery. These are higher quality aminos, but not necessarily vegan. Compound Solutions has Vegan InstaAminos and regular InstaAminos. Overall the molecular structure is the same, it’s just where they are derived from. L-Glutamine is used at 2.5g. The proper dosage of this varies from 3-5g. Recent studies indicate that it is more for gut health than recovery, but historical studies have Glutamine improving recovery time. We get 25mg of ActiGin from Nuliv Sciences as well. This has also been shown to improve recovery times. The recommended dosage is 50mg, we’re just shy, but still a nice addition.
L-Carnitine L-Tartrate is used at 1g. This helps move fatty acids through the blood system to be burned as energy. You get energy provided while burning fat. This is a good dosage of L-Carnitine. To go along with fat burner, BCAA Shredded uses 250mg InnoSlim, a new ingredient by Nuliv Sciences. InnoSlim is derived from Panax notoginseng and Astragalus membranaceus. This works mainly by regulating glucose levels, absorption and synthesis in the body. The recommended dosage is 250mg.
Let’s not forget about hydration. Pink Himalayan Salt is used at 200mg to help put electrolytes back into the body. This is like a perfect sports drink.

Effectiveness

It does provide the essential 2:1:1 BCAA to help with muscle recovery, and it does. DOMS was definitely not noticeable while using this product. Also, hydration was great with the salt added.This is BCAA Shredded but don’t think by just drinking it you are going to tone up. It doesn’t work that way. It’s nice to have InnoSlim and L-Carnitine in this, but you won’t see layers of fat melt off or disappear. You still have to put in the work, and combined with this product it could help over time.
Overall I look at the effectiveness of the product on muscle recovery and BCAA with ActiGin helps big time. Taste

I had times where I dumped it out. But while filming this review I noticed it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was. Mixability
[/vc_column_text][divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”20″][vc_column_text]Mixability was fine on BCAA Shredded. InstaAminos are better soluble in water than normal aminos, this helps. The serving size is 11.5g so nothing too crazy. I was not too familiar with the solubility of ActiGin and InnoSlim but overall I thought this did well. Now it does have the added benefits of hydration and fat burning, but it’s still a 2:1:1 5g BCAA product. Yes, there is value is that along with the quality ingredient. I am not sure where to place value on InnoSlim yet, but there is value there when combined with L-Carnitine. Overall, I think it is a solid product that a price tag of $35 is justifiable, but the taste needs to be fixed before I spend $35 on this.
