Kaged Pre-Workout Elite Series vs. Kaged Pre-Kaged Elite: The Differences

Kaged Pre-Workout Elite vs. Pre-Kaged Elite

It was announced earlier that Kaged is launching a premium supplement line called the "Elite Series" exclusively into GNC. The biggest launch in the brand's history will consist of over 10 products donning the new Elite Series tag with several upgrades to the formulas and flavor tweaks and additions.

Kaged Pre-Workout Elite will also go through a slight change. Back in 2021 Kaged announced a re-brand as well as the announcement that they were going to launch a premium formulated and premium priced pre-workout called Pre-Kaged Elite. Playing on the success of that formula, Kaged decided to give it a tweak and call it Pre-Workout Elite for GNC.

The old saying goes, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." Well, Kaged Pre-Kaged Elite was not broken, so the brand did not have to do much to it to make it different for GNC.

As you look at the two SFPs (supplement facts panel) you will see they are very similar. There are three main differences. The first is Kaged removed 1,500 Carnipure from the formula. Carnipure is a patent form L-Carnitine Tartrate. This ingredient may help aid in energy production. As you ask the question of "why?" let us explain. Kaged elected to remove Carnipure to put that money into a new innovative delivery system called MAX Catalyst.

As you read the SFP of the new Pre-Workout Elite you will notice that the ingredients now contain the term "MAXed" prior the the standard ingredient name. This is because Kaged is using the MAX Catalyst technology which bonds ingredients like the patent Aminature (also new in Pre-Workout Elite versus Pre-Kaged Elite) Citrulline with Piperine to aid in absorption.

Users of the new Pre-Workout Elite Series will see that they are getting MAXed versions of Citrulline, Beta-Alanine (still as Carnosyn) and Creatine Monohydrate.

In addition to the flavor tweaks, Kaged is introducing a new flavor in Cherry Limeade in the lineup. Kaged Pre-Workout Elite Series will be available in Cherry Limeade, Strawberry Lemonade and Fruit Punch.

Kaged will also launch a Pre-Workout Elite Stim Free version alongside the stimulant version as well.

The new Kaged Pre-Workout Elite Series will be available on August 31 exclusively at GNC.

Final Takeaway

Subtle changes but if you can improve absorption in any way, it makes those ingredients work that much better. The addition of Cherry Limeade is a good add for Kaged as well. We will be doing a "One Sip Review" at our Instagram channel (@FitnessInformant).
