Recently MuscleTech released an evolution timeline video of their mass gainer line Mass-Tech on all their social media channels. Around 20 years ago(back in 2004) MuscleTech released a game changing product to the supplement industry. Some of these such as Vitamin C play a crucial role in the synthesis of collagen, a protein that’s vital for the health of your skin, bones, cartilage, and blood vessels. Other Vitamins are included for overall health purposes but also the antioxidant and immune function properties.

With Thiamin(B1) and Riboflavin(B2) you get alot of benefits such as increased energy metabolism. Thiamin and Riboflavin are essential for the conversion of carbs, fats and proteins into energy. They both serve as a coenzymes required for both the decarboxylation of alpha-keto acids in the citric acid cycle and the pentose phosphate pathway, and the redox reactions in the electron transport chain, where they help shuttle electrons and facilitate ATP production. These pathways are central to the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the body’s primary energy currency. This also encompasses the Vitamin D3(Niacin) and B6 included in this formulation.

The rest of the listed vitamins and minerals we get in this formula, we get the usual suspects such as Calcium, Iron, Sodium, Potassium, Zinc and more. One thing I really like about this label is that it also lists the complete Amino Acid Profile. While this might not mean much to some, it shows how transparent MuscleTech is and that’s very respectable.

MuscleTech Mass-Tech Takeaway

As an active competitor and competitor coach, I personally believe that when used correctly a MassGainer can be extremely beneficial.
