In addition to the new flavor, MuscleTech is also making a tweak to the naming convention of the product line. What used to be known as Nitro-Tech 100% Whey Gold will now be known as Nitro-Tech Gold Whey. MuscleTech’s Nitro-Tech Whey Gold is a premium whey protein blend available in multiple flavors. MuscleTech has several versions of protein available including an isolate in Isowhey, a muscle-building protein in Nitro-Tech standard which includes creatine and a fat burning protein in Nitro-Tech Ripped.
Nitro-Tech Whey Gold prides itself on their flavoring system. This formula does not contain any creatine or fat burning ingredients like other proteins in the MuscleTech family.
Nitro-Tech Whey Gold is a blend of Whey Protein Concentrate, Whey Protein Isolate and Hydrolyzed Whey Protein. This blend of protein allows for better mouth feel, typically better flavoring and it has multiple absorption rates making it perfect for a post-workout shake or anytime of day.
The macro breakdown of Nitro-Tech Whey Gold is in-line with most protein powders. Per one scoop you will get 130 calories. Those calories are made up of 2.5g fat, 3g carbohydrates and 24g protein.
The Chocolate Peanut Butter flavor does include a peanut flour. If you are allergic to peanuts this would not be for you. It is sweetened via sucralose.
