Ingredients Profile

Kaged Muscle Supplements Micropure Whey Protein Isolate is one of the better WPI on the market when it comes to their profile.
We start with 25g of WPI. The one thing the label doesn’t state is how much is actually yielded – is it the full 25g in which case the amount of WPI would be about 27.8g yielding 25g of WPI. In any case, 25g of WPI is the expectation in a WPI formula.
When you look at actual WPI per serving, you are getting 76% protein in each serving. The serving size is a bit larger due to the addition of ProHydrolase.
Fats are minimal at 1g, which most WPI are extremely low on fats. We like this.
The one area where it is a bit higher is carbs at 6g. Why is that? It has to do with the use of honey powder. This is an added sugar which is also a carb. No worries, it is a natural source of sweetness so it won’t kill you.
What I really like is the addition of ProHydrolase. We’ve seen this pop-up in other formulas too. The purpose of this ingredient is to quickly breakdown the protein into amino acids to be absorbed into your bloodstream. The quicker we can do this, the more we absorb and do not waste – we utilize more of the protein.
A lot of folks look at what “sugar” or “sweetener” source is used. We have honey powder which consists of honey and sucralose. We also have stevia. Overall, solid.
I like this formula a lot. Would I like less carbs for an isolate? Sure, but not a deal breaker. It uses ProHydrolase which I am a big fan of. It also is not utilizing artificial flavors or colors. Effectiveness

With proteins, you want to make sure they get into your blood stream quickly (at least the amount your body can process) and leave little to no stomach discomfort. The nice thing about Micropure is it includes Prohydrolase which reduces discomfort and reduces absorption time as it breaks down protein quickly, exactly what we are looking for in a protein.This is a clean, effective WPI product. No discomfort at all, goes down smooth and you don’t feel bloated at all.

Kudos to KM for making a really good tasting chocolate protein powder. It isn’t chalky and it doesn’t leave any off putting tastes in your mouth – something you’d expect with a protein powder that uses Stevia.
