Vasoblitz is a great pump product. There is a lot of marketing hype around it, but it is a simplified pump product that uses NO3-T Arginine Nitrates to provide a kick ass pump. This is one of our favorite pump products. The nice thing is they don’t try to trick you with BS. They give you solid ingredients that work – and at dosages that they should be at. A quality pump product you should run out to buy.

We start with the Multi-stage mTOR & Recovery Elements section. We get 2.5g of L-Leucine. This is the BCAA responsible for turning they key and starting the engine for mTOR. Glutamine is used at 1.5g. This helps with muscle repair, but also with gut health.
We then get into the EAA & Uptake Elements. We get 1.69g of EAAs (along with 2.5mg of Bioperine for uptake). This helps feed our bodies while we sleep and promotes muscle repair and growth. EAAs are a hot subject these days, and when taken on an empty stomach they can provide major benefits.
We then dive into the Anabolic Growth & REM Elements. We get 500mg of GABA. This helps promote HGH secretion while you sleep. GABA should be dosed between 3-5g – so it would require a lot more to be beneficial. L-Arginine HCl is dosed at 500mg. This is used for NO production, but studies have shown it to help with sleep. L-Ornithine HCl is also used at 500mg. A study here shows that it can increase sleep quality (especially when you drink.)
Mind & Mood Support Elements is next. This includes L-Glycine at 500mg. This can improve sleep by reducing stress and allowing you to focus before bed. Mucana Pruriens is used at 125mg. This is a good source of L-Dopa, which is the “feel good” feeling we get when something makes us happy. Lastly, we get Acetyl-L-Carnitine HCl at 100mg. This transmits fatty acids to be burned off as energy. Odd to see it here, plus the dosage is so low it won’t do a ton.
Adrenal Support Elements is next. This consists of Ashwagandha Root at 150mg. Ashwagandha can relieve stress and help boost testosterone. A minimum of 600mg should be used (using two scoops will get you 300mg). Avena Sativa Extract is used at 100mg. This helps improve cognitive function and libidio. Last we get Licorice Root Extract at 50mg. This has been shown to reduce stress.
Lastly, we get the PowerDown Elements. We get 500mg L-Tryptophan. This increases Melatonin (the next ingredient) and improves sleep quality. Melatonin is used at 1.5mg. With two scoops you get 3mg. A solid dosage to help improve sleep quality.
Overall, a good recovery profile. So, does it help you sleep? In short, yes. The one issue you may find yourself running into, depending on the amount of water you use, you might have to get up to pee the liquid you just drank. The flavor was Pineapple Mango…I didn’t really pick up either flavor. If any, more pineapple than mango (wish it was the other way around). I would use two scoops so the flavor was a bit stronger than just a single scoop. We then look at effectiveness. A high BCAA product will be effective. This is generally an extension of the profile section. The higher quality ingredients used at proper dosages, the more effective that product will be.

We get 5g of 2:1:1 BCAA (InstAminos from Compound Solutions). These are quality aminos (may not be fermented/vegan FYI). This is the ratio we want and the dosage that is acceptable. I have no qualms with this at all.
We also get other EAAs which people are losing their minds over. Collectively this should provide a full spectrum of aminos to provide adequate muscle recovery, repair and growth.
Outside the aminos, we get 5g of Carb10 carbohydrates. These are fast absorbing carbs that can help restore glycogen levels to help provide energy.

You want to look for a couple things. Does this hydrate you? As it should. It does. Also, does it relieve DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness)? It does. Pump
Batch 27 starts with 8g of Citrulline DL Malate (2:1). This ingredient is going to improve blood flow into your muscles providing you with a solid pump. The dosage for this type of Citrulline should be between 6-8g. We are at the top level, happy with this dosage. Agmatine Sulfate is used at 600mg, but should also be dosed at a minimum of 1g. This ingredient helps with your pump. It increases NO in your body. I would like to see a minimum of 1g of Agmatine Sulfate used. We also get 250mg of Theobromine . Studies show between 200mg and 400mg for dosage. This dilates your blood vessels which increases your pump.
Strength and Endurance
Beta-Alanine, the “itchy” ingredient designed to help strength output and endurance is dosed at 3.5g. This is above the 3.2g clinically studied and suggested dosage; we’re good here. (NOTE: Just so we’re clear, more Beta-Alanine doesn’t make it a better pre-workout. Some people judge a pre-workout supplement by the tingly feeling they get, but that should not be the case.) Betaine is dosed at 1.6g. This should be dosed between 1.5 and 2.5g. I like the higher end at 2.5g but 1.6g falls within range. This ingredient is to help increase strength output. Creatine HCl is dosed at 1g. The effective dosage of Creatine HCl is 1-2g. I, personally, do not like creatine in my pre-workouts. I am a bigger fan of Creatine Monohydrate (which requires 5g). Creatine is a fairly inexpensive ingredient, by putting it in a pre-workout it is taking up space and most of the time you pay a premium for it. In this case, because it is dosed correctly we will say kudos.
Focus
L-Tyrosine, a focus/memory enhancing ingredient is dosed at 600mg. This should be dosed at a minimum of 1g. I like the use of this ingredient, but anything under 1g to me is a waste. Nice to have, but could use more. We get 100mg of Theanine, the mood relaxing ingredient. This is best taken with caffeine, which we get in this pre-workout. Dosages of 100-200mg are sufficient. Lastly, for focus, we get 120mcg of Huperzine A. This is a cognitive enhancing ingredient. Dosages can range from 50-200mcg.
Energy
There are two sources of caffeine in Batch 27. Caffeine Anhydrous is dosed at 275mg. This is the fast acting, hard hitting caffeine that can lead to a crash. To avoid the crash, Batch 27 uses 50mg of Caffeine Citrate. They also toss in 110mg of Synephrine aka Bitter Orange Extract. This is 30% so we are actually getting about 33mg of Synepherine. Recommended dosages is 30-60mg, so we’re in the ball park. L-Carnitine, an ingredient which transports fatty acids to be burned as energy, is used at 500mg. This is under dosed as well. At minimum in a pre-workout we’d see this at 1g. True L-Carnitine products are 1,500-3,000mg.
Overall, some ingredients are dosed nicely, while others are underwhelming. L-Carnitine, Tyrosine, Carnitine and Agmatine Sulfate are all under dosed. But on the flip side we get big doses of Citrulline DL Malate and Beta-Alanine. Pump
Pump was good. We typically would use a pump product on top of our pre, and if you are big into that I would recommend you keep doing that. The pump is good, just not epic like it can be with a pump powder.
Strength & Endurance
Solid here. Fatigue set in when it should set it. What I mean by that is we were able to power through some intense workouts. Endurance was nice. One thing a good pre-workout should do is help with muscle fatigue. No major issues here.
Energy
The best part of this pre-workout. I like the use of two caffeine sources. Having ingredients like Theanine coupled with it helps too so you’re not just raging. Synepherine (Bitter Orange) also contributes nicely to the energy, This is where we get a bit of the intense-ness. This is a nice, intense, but euphoric energy.
Focus
We lack a bit here. If you look at the deck, there isn’t any one ingredient/focus ingredient that pops off outside of Huperzine A. Stims help with focus, but in terms of others we’ve had, this one isn’t a top pre-workout for focus.
Overall, this pre-workout is effective. It is a safer pre-workout meaning it isn’t tossing in a bunch of gray area stims, and with that you won’t get a crazy intense pre, but one that works and you reap the benefits of it. We start with 30g of carb claim. This is true. The reason this product may be more affordable than other post-workout products is because it still relies on Dextrose for the carb source. I personally feel like people should move on from dextrose and look into Highly Branched Cyclic Dextrin, a much higher quality carb source. Yes, getting 30g of carbs post workout is great, but there are additional benefits coupled with the carb source. The higher quality carb the less bloat and blood sugar spiking you’re going to get. Overall, 30g of carbs is nice, I would prefer a higher quality source.
Protein is key post workout. Post Pro has 20g of protein, broken down into 12g of Whey Protein Isolate and 8g of Whey Protein Concentrate (80% – quality). Getting 20g post workout is decent. I do like to try to get 30g post-workout. The combo of WPI and WPC is solid because you get the fast absorbing protein in WPI and then the slower digesting protein in WPC (albeit not much slower). This is a high quality protein blend that I am a fan of.
Your 10g of aminos comes in the form of 5g of L-Glutamine and 5g of BCAAs. Getting 5g of L-Glutamine is a good dosage post workout. I used to supplement with L-Glutamine all the time. Recent studies have shown that it doesn’t do as much for muscle recovery as it once was thought it did, however there is a bunch of benefits surrounding gut health. The BCAA ratio is unique at 3:1:2. I like the 2:1:1 due to the multitude of studies proving it is the ideal ratio. Some people do like the additional Leucine as it is the key to mTOR activation (starts the muscle protein synthesis engine). I am not opposed to it. This 3:1:2 is much better than the BS 10:1:1 we’ve seen.
Creatine is one of the most proven supplements on the planet. Post Pro give us 4g of Creatine Monohydrate and 1g Creatine HCl. Unique here is Creatine Monohydrate should be dosed at 5g and Creatine HCl at 1-2g, you typically don’t need both. ME is essentially giving you a full dose of both types of creatine. What is kind of cool about this is if your body doesn’t respond well to one version, you have a back-up plan. I prefer Creatine Monohydrate, so I would have been 100% OK with a full 5g dosage, but I understand why they did what they did.
Outside of the 30:20:10:5 claims, you get a couple other ingredients that serve a purpose in muscle recovery. Tart Cherry Powder, which has been proven to reduce muscle soreness when used post-exercise, is used at 400mg. The study conducted to prove it works used 480mg of tart cherry powder. I would say that the 400mg is sufficient however. Coconut water powder is used at 300mg to help with muscle hydration. I would like to see this higher in the dosage category, around 500mg, but it is a nice to have.
Overall, a good post-workout option based on the ingredient deck. My takeaways are that the carb source could be improved. I think Dextrose is a thing of the past, and maybe ME will update in the future (but if they do the price point will go up too). I would also prefer the 2:1:1 ratio BCAA. For Creatine, and me personally, I would like all of it to be the most studied and proven Creatine Monohydrate, but I see why they do what they do. Regarding muscle soreness, lately I have been having more, but I also upped my workouts in intensity during my push/pull/leg sets. I also supplement with other aminos. I would say that muscle soreness existed but it would have been much worse had I not had Post Pro and BCAAs that I was taking.
The other is bloating. Dextrose is a carb source that can make you bloat, and a little bit it does. You feel a tad bloated but it also depends on how much you take. If you stick to the two scoops = 30g of carbs you are more likely to be non or less bloated. For me, because I wanted 30g of protein, I would do three scoops, which would be 45g of carbs – it’s only reasonable that you get a little more bloat with it.

Postlift starts with 20g of Highly Branched Cyclic Dextrin. This is one of the highest quality sources of carbohydrates on the planet today. Arguably, there is only one supplement on the planet with better carb quality. The 20g dosage is nice to help replenish muscle glycogen levels after you deplete them from a hard workout. You then get 3g of L-Glutamine. L-Glutamine has been known more recently for gut health, and not muscle recovery. However, until it has been proven 100%, we still like the inclusion of L-Glutamine. I would like to see 5g, but 3g is still good. Betaine Anhydrous is dosed at 2.5g. This is the clinical dosage of Betaine. You will most likely find Betaine in your pre-workout, this contributes to power and strength by allowing your body to produce creatine, this creatine is needed to restore depleted levels. Lastly, we get 2g of Taurine. Much like Betaine, Taurine is dosed in many pre-workouts for strength and endurance, but has shown promise in the area of muscle recovery.
Postlift then dives into a full spectrum of Essential Amino Acids. You get almost 7g of a EAAs in Postlift. Out of that 7g, you get 3.3g+ of BCAAs. Now the ratio isn’t 2:1:1; it’s more like 4:1:1 (not exactly but very close). The clinical studies show this to be best at 2:1:1, but those are done while it is studied alone, not with a full spectrum of aminos. A great addition of ingredients that more and more people are believing in.
Lastly, Postlift includes electrolytes. Three different ingredients: Trisodium Citrate, Potassium Chloride and TRAACS Magnesium Bisglycinate Chelate. You get just shy of 1g of this. Hydration and electrolyte replenishment is key to recovery (how do you think Gatorade made all that money?)
Overall, a very solid profile. We start out with Glycerol. This ingredient is one I am a fan of. It turns your muscles into a sponge and absorbs a lot of water to get you that fullness you are looking for in your pump. I like Glycerol dosed at 1.5g, personally.
Next, we get Taurine. Now Taurine is more of a strength output ingredient. It should be dosed at a minimum of 1g for effectiveness. With more strength comes more reps which means more blood pumping.
Arginine is used 3rd. This has been shown to increase NO levels in the body. I have seen this dosed as high as 1g before. I cannot imagine we are getting that here.
L-Citrulline is used 4th. I would like to see this used above Taurine. What this tells me is that L-Citrulline is going to be under dosed. You should get 3-5g of L-Citrulline for the clinical dosage and optimal pumps. This helps move blood into your muscle cells. Based on it being a 5g blend, we know we are not getting the min. of 3g because Taurine and Glycerol would have to be higher than that.
The 5th ingredient is HICA. This ingredient is a neat little one allowing you to workout longer before muscle fatigue sets in. It gets into your muscles and reduces acid buildup. How does this contribute to your pump? The longer you can workout before fatigue, the bigger the pump you will have. The only human study has this dosed at 1.5g per day. We’re not getting that here.
Lastly, we get Glycerylphosphorylcholine aka Alpha GPC. This improves memory and focus. Love this nootropic. It should be dosed at minimum of 600mg. I cannot say with conviction that we get that here, it wouldn’t add up based on what is in this.
Overall, I like the ingredients used, a lot of benefits, but the dosage is questionable. The issue that comes with these products is that other areas of the preworkout game are neglected, yet you pay the same price for it as you would for a well rounded pre. We start with 2g of L-Tyrosine. This is a focus improving ingredient that is typically dosed at 1g. Solid on this front. Next, we get 1,000mg of Acetyl-L-Carnitine. This is a great dosage of Carnitine which moves fatty acids through the body to be burned as energy and ultimate lead to fat loss. Alpha GPC is my favorite Nootropic on the market. We get it at 300mg (50%). I would like to see this at 600mg, especially if your claim is “Mental Jiant.” In a perfect world this would be 1,200mg.
We do get caffeine in this. We get 275mg of Caffeine Anhydrous. This is the fast hitting, hard hitting caffeine we’re used too in a pre-workout. Beta PEA, also known as phenethylamine, is used at 250mg. This is a small molecule, with a large impact. This is also known as the “happy molecule.” The typical dosage of this is 100-500mg.
Hordenine is dosed at 100mg. This ingredient is known for it’s fat burning capabilities. This helps produce energy when it “burns” fat. The dosage is sufficient based on other items with this ingredient. Theanine is dosed at 100mg. This helps relax you. The dosage of 100-200mg per day is recommended. Lastly, we get 20mg of Noopept, another one of my favorite Nootropics. This really helps give you that laser focus you are looking for. This is dosed nicely too.
Overall, the ingredients used are dosed appropriately. I would love to see more Alpha GPC, but not bad all around. This pre does lack in the pump, strength and endurance categories. Focus XT from SNS is great. It’s not a pre-workout, but a nootropic formula with the extra kick of energy to get you throughout the day. A lot of companies are doing an amino energy product, Focus XT could lead the way with Nootropic energy products, and I am OK with that. We then look at effectiveness. An effective pre-workout will use high quality, proven ingredients, at clinically backed dosages. This is generally an extension of the profile section. The higher quality ingredients used at proper dosages, the more effective that product will be.
Then we move into the taste of the different flavors we’ve tried. We grade each flavor separately and average the scores for their overall taste rating. We were able to test out the following flavors: Rocket Pop.
Mixability refers to how well the powder mixes in 12oz of water. We use the shaker bottle test. This would be your typical Blender Bottle with the spiral chrome ball.
Finally, we talk about value. Value is the combination of profile, effectiveness, taste and mixability in relation to cost. We start with 1.5g of Tyrosine. This ingredient provides mental clarity and improved focus. You find this in a lot of pre-workouts as well. There are two forms of Tyrosine in this. Next, we get a blend, which I which was transparent, but it contains 1g of Choline Bitartrate and Alpha GPC). Choline Bitartrate I have seen dosed as high as 1g before, and because it is labeled first it is the dominant ingredient. I love Alpha-GPC. My favorite Nootropic. I would imagine Choline is more along the lines of 700-800mg while A-GPC is 200-300mg. These ingredients are designed to improve focus.
Taurine is used and dosed at 1g. This is used more for endurance and strength output. You find this in a lot of pre-workouts as well.
DMAE is used. This ingredient is cool as it really works with memory loss as people age. It reduces a pigment in the brain that impairs cognitive functions. We see this more and more in Nootropic formulas. It is dosed at 200mg. Recommended dosage is 100-200mg per day. L-Theanine, the relaxing ingredient, is dosed at 100mg. A sufficient dosage.
TeaCrine is used at 62.5mg. This pairs nicely with the 125mg of Caffine Anhydrous and 50mg of Di-Caffeine Malate. This provides a nice energy without a major crash. Energy also leads to focus.
Interesting, Focus XT uses 10mg of Lutein, which is the recommended dosage for preventing cataracts. Eye health does help with focus.
Lastly, Huperzine A is dosed at 100mcg, the right dosage, to help improve cognitive ability.
Overall, a really solid, great focus product with the added benefit of energy. A big fan of this profile and the dosage throughout. This is very effective at “zoning” you in. The Nootropic ingredients and ingredients used for improving cognitive functions was done nicely. In fact, I type this review as we speak drinking this to help me focus.
The caffeine isn’t overbearing. It is more than a cup of coffee. In fact, with the TeaCrine, it is about two cups of coffee.

You get a bit of blue raspberry, a bit of fruit punch and a bit of the white flavor in those bombscicle pops. Moral of the story is that it does taste great.
