Overview of Nutrex Outlift Concentrate

Nutrex Research has several new series of supplements that each have their own target market. This is smart. I like this. Nutrex makes solid, quality products that we can all get behind.

Nutrex Outlift Concentrate is a smart pre-workout powder. What I mean by that is it promises a focus on focus while maintaining a really nice price point. You will get some of the best focus of your life, with great energy for a solid value. Definitely worth trying if you lack focus in the gym.

Why You Should Trust Our Reviews

  • EXPERT REVIEW PANEL
Our review panel is made up of individuals with many years of experience in the sports nutrition industry, dating back to the early 2000’s. Their tenure gives them knowledge on brands, supplements, ingredients, dosages and more.
  • FULL CONTAINER REVIEWS
Unlike the majority of “review” sites on the internet, Fitness Informant reviews every supplement on a full-container basis. What does this mean? It means that a review is not written or recorded until the last serving of that product has been finished. We’ve all had products that were great for the first couple of days, but then lost their effectiveness shortly after. We want to ensure you are getting a full review based on a full product.
  • INGREDIENT EDUCATION
We breakdown each ingredient in our reviews to educate you on exactly what the ingredients do, and what is the proper dosage of each ingredient to effectively do what they are intended to do.
  • 100% HONEST – NO B.S. REVIEWS
Our number #1 priority is to inform you proper supplement selection through honest reviews. The majority of “review” sites on the internet will push you to buy a certain product based on the commissions they received. Not us. We want you to purchase the highest quality supplements at the best value. We put your health and wellness first. To achieve your goals we want you to use only the best supplements that you can afford. We do this by being honest.

Testing Results and Ratings

We reviewed Nutrex Outlift Concentrate on five categories. We first start by looking at it’s ingredient profile. This portion of the review looks at the different ingredients used in the pre-workout, what their intention is and how effectively dosed are each ingredient.

We then look at effectiveness. An effective pre-workout will use high quality, proven ingredients, at clinically backed dosages.  This is generally an extension of the profile section. The higher quality ingredients used at proper dosages, the more effective that product will be.

Then we move into the taste of the different flavors we’ve tried. We grade each flavor separately and average the scores for their overall taste rating. We were able to test out the following flavors: Dragon Fruit.

Mixability refers to how well the powder mixes in 12oz of water. We use the shaker bottle test. This would be your typical Blender Bottle with the spiral chrome ball.

Finally, we talk about value. Value is the combination of profile, effectiveness, taste and mixability in relation to cost. Another part of value are the competitors and other versions of pre-workout products on the market.

Ingredients Profile

(7/10)

The reason Nutrex Outlift Concentrate is affordable is because they don’t go overboard with ingredients. They concentrate on focus and energy with this pre-workout. Let’s dive into it.

We start with 1.5g of Choline Bitrate. This is a SOLID dosage of Choline. This is a cognitive enhancing ingredient and we typically see this around 1g. Next we get 750mg of N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine. This, again, is another cognitive enhancing ingredient. We like to see this at minimum of 1g, however we are not far off. This is going to be the focus complex.

For pump we get two versions of nitrates. First we get 500mg of Sodium Nitrate (NO3-T) and then 300mg of Betaine Nitrate (NO3-T). Nitrates kick ass when it comes to pump. We would like to see these higher (we’ve seen them as high as 1,500mg). However, a nice add to a “focus” driven pre-workout.

For energy we get two versions of caffeine. First we get Caffeine Citrate at 400mg (yielding 200mg). Then we get another 200mg of Caffeine Anhydrous for a total of 400mg of caffeine. Yes, this is a TON. You will get an energy kick from this product. We also get 2mg of Rauwolscine which is similar to Yohimbine, a fat burning ingredient. Anything more than this dosage can cause issues, so be aware.

Overall, a good profile based on what they are providing. Energy and focus…with a small pump kick. They are not over promising like some companies do.

Effectiveness

(7/10)

We will break this down into the pillars of a pre-workout to judge. Here we go:

Pump: I got a decent pump off of this pre-workout. Every workout from arms to legs left my muscles feeling full.

Focus: now this is what this preworkout nailed it on. Drinking it within 15-20mins of working out it was like a switch flipped. My mind was on one thing and that was the workout I had ahead of me it also lasted for hours after taking it…Definitely a win in this category.

Energy: I will give this an OK rating. With 400mg of caffeine you still get a decent amount of energy. But I did notice that it didn’t last as long as some of the other pre-workouts I’ve taken. Would like TeaCrine or something else added.

Strength: I didn’t really notice much of a strength increase when taking this. It was more of a focus than anything.

Endurance: with this pre-workout being a hit on the focus side, I did notice that I had that feeling I could keep going longer. Without slowing down.

Overall, solid on initial energy, great on focus, and good on pump. Strength was non-existent but then again, there are no strength ingredients in this product.

Taste

Blackberry Lemonade: (8/10)

Blackberry lemonade was definitely a different flavor to try. It was nice to have a flavor that’s outside the normal.

It tasted just like blackberry lemonade. That is a plus. Too many times the flavor on the container doesn’t match the notes we get when tasting it.  This was enjoyable and a refreshing quick drink before my workouts.

Mixability

(10/10)

Huge huge win in this category. I have never had anything mix as clean as this pre-workout. No particles, no chalky after taste, just mixed great with nothing left at the bottom but a clean shaker cup. This is a very small serving size at 6.4g so this should be expected, but sometimes isn’t. Nice work Nutrex!

Value

(9/10)

There are not any false promises here. They claim concentrate on the container. They sell it for 30-servings for $30. When a lot of pre-workouts are around $2 a serving (they typically are well-rounded) we are getting $1 per serving on the promise of really two categories, with an additional pump aspect not expected. I would put a solid value on Outlift Concentrate. Good price point for this pre-workout.
