MuscleForce Obedient X3 is a Stim-Free Pre-Workout supplement meant to aid with pump and focus. It contains two blends, one for pumps and performance, and the other for focus with Nootropic ingredients.
The focus and pumps are certainly there, and it is meant for people who are looking to avoid Caffeine in their pre-workout, however still want a nice boost in focus and pumps. The flavor is great, something that is not surprising coming from MuscleForce, and the value is certainly going to nice to look at for people on a budget.

Testing Results and Ratings
We reviewed MuscleForce Obedient X3 on five categories. We first start by looking at its ingredient profile. This portion of the review looks at the different ingredients used in the stim-free pre-workout supplement, what their intention is and how effectively dosed are each ingredient.
We then look at effectiveness. An effective stim-free pre-workout product will use high quality, proven ingredients, at clinically backed dosages. This is generally an extension of the profile section. The higher quality ingredients used at proper dosages, the more effective that pre-workout will be.
Then we move into the taste of the different flavors we’ve tried. We grade each flavor separately and average the scores for their overall taste rating. We were able to test out the following flavors: Snow Cone
Mixability refers to how well the powder mixes in 6-8oz of water. We use the shaker bottle test. We use the Official Shaker Cup of Fitness Informant, the Ice Shaker.
Finally, we talk about value. Value is the combination of profile, effectiveness, taste and mixability in relation to cost. Another part of value are the competitors and other versions of stim-free pre-workout products on the market.
Ingredients Profile
As a stim-free preworkout, Obedient dives right into its two main goals: pumps and focus. Citrulline malate is at 6 grams, which is the clinical dose. It converts to Arginine in the body and helps with pumps. Beet root powder is a source of nitrates, and norvaline prevents arginine from being broken down in the body. Both are dosed well. Glycerol monostearate aids with cellular hydration and at 3 grams is dosed well.taurine at 3 grams is a solid dose as well. Taurine can help with hydration and blood flow.
The nootropic blend starts off with Choline Bitartrate at 1 gram. Choline converts to Acetylcholine, which is a neurotransmitter. It is dosed well, however this is a subpar form of Choline, and we’d prefer to see Alpha GPC or CDP Choline instead. Acetyl-L-Carnitine is next, and is at 500mg. This is a form of Carnitine that has been shown to be beneficial for cognitive function as it crosses the blood-brain barrier well. We’d like to see a little bit more, but 500mg can still provide some benefits.
The next three ingredients are Tyrosine, NooPept, and Huperzine. Tyrosine is a precursor to Dopamine, and is great for focus and mood. At 250mg, we’d like to see more in here. As for the NooPept, it is actually a very interesting ingredient. It is a Nootropic and seems to be used best as an everyday ingredient, but we still don’t mind the addition, and at 30mg is dosed well in Obedient X3. As for the Huperzine, it prevents acetylcholine from being broken down in the brain, and is dosed well at 300mcg, in fact, some may call it high.
The scoop that was provided doesn’t hold the actual dose claimed on the label. In order to get the full dose, a heaping scoop is needed.
Effectiveness
Nootropics can always help your focus, mood and mind/body control. However it can be difficult to tell how well it’s performing without a stimulant to wrangle. Obedient’s nootropic blend does a fair job if you’re well rested. It certainly provided a solid boost in focus, however it won’t be as good as if you do not have your sleep schedule down. It seems to get better the more you use it, something we have also noticed.
While the pumps were there, there could be a few tweaks made. Taurine and the coconut water powder certainly helped with hydration and muscle contractions. The watery pumps you’d expect from Glycerol Monostearate are as prominent when compared to a pre-workout that contains something like GlyerSize or HydroMax. There have been advancements in glycerol that have made patented versions shelf stable and hold better yield percentage. With this product, it seems like the standard glycerol monostearate was used and fails to carry a considerable volume feel. With that said, there is still a noticeable pump, which is expected given the Citrulline Malate and Beet Root. It performs well and it delivers on both focus and pumps.
Taste
Snow Cone:
Snow cone flavor draws pretty close to the real deal. The flavor hits with a red, sweet and tart texture. The flavor also stays with you on the back end and beyond. If you’re a fan of red, tart flavoring, this Snow Cone flavor is a real treat that you can look forward to. Also, you can go beyond the recommended 16oz of water and retain some of the flavor.
Mixability
Each flavor has a color dye to match. Failing to give it a generous shake-up could leave you with some small crystals in the drink, especially with cold water. There’s no real issue with mixing or settling when sticking with the recommended amount of water.
