Overview of Cutler Nutrition Amplify
Amplify is a solid pump product. It seems to be more of an add-on than a standalone. The effectiveness is solid and gets the job done. However, with the market the way it is today, there are certainly stronger options out there. With that said, this is certainly something to consider if you have a stim-based pre-workout that may be lacking in pump ingredients.
Why You Should Trust Our Reviews
- EXPERT REVIEW PANEL
Our review panel is made up of individuals with many years of experience in the sports nutrition industry, dating back to the early 2000’s. Their tenure gives them knowledge on brands, supplements, ingredients, dosages and more. - FULL CONTAINER REVIEWS
Unlike the majority of “review” sites on the internet, Fitness Informant reviews every supplement on a full-container basis. What does this mean? It means that a review is not written or recorded until the last serving of that product has been finished. We’ve all had products that were great for the first couple of days, but then lost their effectiveness shortly after. We want to ensure you are getting a full review based on a full product. - INGREDIENT EDUCATION
We breakdown each ingredient in our reviews to educate you on exactly what the ingredients do, and what is the proper dosage of each ingredient to effectively do what they are intended to do. - 100% HONEST – NO B.S. REVIEWS
Our number #1 priority is to inform you proper supplement selection through honest reviews. The majority of “review” sites on the internet will push you to buy a certain product based on the commissions they received. Not us. We want you to purchase the highest quality supplements at the best value. We put your health and wellness first. To achieve your goals we want you to use only the best supplements that you can afford. We do this by being honest.

Testing Results and Ratings
We reviewed Cutler Nutrition Amplify on five categories. We first start by looking at it’s ingredient profile. This portion of the review looks at the different ingredients used in the pump supplement, what their intention is and how effectively dosed are each ingredient.
We then look at effectiveness. An effective pump produce will use high quality, proven ingredients, at clinically backed dosages. This is generally an extension of the profile section. The higher quality ingredients used at proper dosages, the more effective that product will be.
Then we move into the taste of the different flavors we’ve tried. We grade each flavor separately and average the scores for their overall taste rating. We were able to test out the following flavors: Peach Mango.
Mixability refers to how well the powder mixes in 12oz of water. We use the shaker bottle test. This would be your typical Blender Bottle with the spiral chrome ball.
Finally, we talk about value. Value is the combination of profile, effectiveness, taste and mixability in relation to cost. Another part of value are the competitors and other versions of pump products on the market.
Ingredients Profile
To preface this part of the review, we are going to be judging this based on the 2 scoop serving.
Amplify is a pretty simple and straightforward product. The profile starts off with 5 grams of L-Citrulline. This is a good dose, and isn’t a surprise to see it in Amplify, as it seems to be the most common ingredient in any pump supplement these days. L-Citrulline converts to Arginine, which is a precursor to Nitric Oxide.
Next up, we have 2 grams of Taurine, followed by 1.5 grams of Creatine HCl. Taurine is a very common ingredient, which has been shown to aid in blood flow, hydration, and muscle function. Here we get 2 grams, which is a solid dose. As for the Creatine HCl, it is a form of Creatine which dissolves in water much better than regular Creatine Monohydrate. It is also advertised to not increase water retention, something that some low quality Creatine Monohydrates are known for. Here you get 1.5 grams, which is a good dose.
We end this with Coconut Water Powder, Grape Seed Extract, and Pink Himalayan Sea Salt. Coconut Water Powder is at 600mg, while Pink Himalayan Sea Salt is at 50mg. The Coconut Water Powder and Pink Himalayan Sea Salt are great for aiding in hydration, which is vital for pumps. The Pink Himlayan Sea Salt is a bit low unfortunately, so if you want the benefits of that, we’d advise adding some yourself.
Grape Seed Extract is an underutilized ingredient, it provides antioxidants and it has been shown to be beneficial for lowering blood pressure.
Overall, the ingredient profile isn’t overthetop, however looks to be more of an add-on to stim-based pre-workouts. If it had something else to compliment the L-Citrulline, such as Glycerol Monostearate, it would be a solid standalone pump product.
Effectiveness
As for effectiveness, it certainly does “Amplify” your stim-based pre-workouts. Simply adding this to a nootropic or thermogenic can turn them into solid pre-workouts. Even adding it to an energy drink like Raze isn’t a bad idea.
The pumps from Amplify are certainly noticeable, and they are quite enjoyable. Compared to some other products, it isn’t quite as strong. It could stand to have something like Glycerol Monostearate added into it to simply put it over that hump. Don’t expect dense/painful pumps like the ones you’d get from a Nitrate based pump product, but rather a nice increase.
Taste
Peach Mango:
We got the Peach Mango flavor and it is solid. The Creatine HCl makes it a bit tart, but nothing that will make your face crunch up. It’s at a point where it’s sweet, but can still be refreshing with the right amount of water. Not the best Peach Mango out there, but still quite tasty.
Mixability
It mixes very well, plain and simple. If you let it sit too long you may notice slight, but very fine sediment accumulating at the bottom of the of your shaker cup. Still, you won’t notice them it all while drinking. We have to mention that it does have dyes in it.
Value
You can get this for around $26 if you use coupon code “INFORMANT”. This will get you 20 servings. This is a very fair price, and cheaper than many other pump supplements out there. However, you do sacrifice some effectiveness, but it is certainly a better option than many other products out on the market.
