CarnoSyn StatisticsCarnoSyn® Beta-Alanine has been shown to significantly increase carnosine levels in humans. Carnosine is a protein building block that is naturally produced in the body. In a study conducted on 15 male athletes, supplementing with Beta-Alanine significantly increased muscle carnosine levels. In this same study, supplementing with Beta-Alanine also reduced muscular fatigue in knee extension exercises.

CarnoSyn® Beta-Alanine has also been shown to reduce exercise induced metabolic acidosis, a condition when too much acid builds up in the body causing fatigue. Exercise-induced metabolic acidosis can also lead to a build-up of lactic acid, which can cause muscle soreness. In a study conducted on 14 male physical education students, supplementing with Beta-Alanine significantly reduced compared to the placebo group. This same study also noted that oxygen uptake was not impacted.

CarnoSyn® Beta-Alanine has been shown to play an important role in increased endurance during high intensity workouts. In a study conducted on 46 men, supplementation with Beta-Alanine significantly increased participants O2 utilization and time to fatigue. The conclusion is that supplementing with Beta-Alanine daily leads to improved endurance and lean body mass.

CarnoSyn® Beta-Alanine may also increase enhance exercise training. In a study consisting of 13 males, subjects underwent cycle capacity test to determine total work done. Twelve other subjects received a placebo. The results of the study showed that the group who supplemented with CarnoSyn® not only had an increase in muscle carnosine levels, but also increased total work done by 13%.

CarnoSyn® Beta-Alanine may also be used in intra-workout supplements designed to prolong endurance.

CarnoSyn® Beta-Alanine is designed to be taken daily. Most people do not take a pre-workout supplement daily, therefore they are not not getting the clinical amount of Beta-Alanine daily. You should supplement with CarnoSyn® Beta-Alanine outside of your pre-workout if you want the full effect.

CarnoSyn® Beta-Alanine may be found in pre-workout supplements for its ability to increase exercise capacity, prolong muscular endurance and increases in strength output.

CarnoSyn® Beta-Alanine may also be found in post-workout muscle recovery supplements as it may reduce exercise induced metabolic acidosis, which can lead to the buildup of lactic acid. The buildup of lactic acid can contribute to delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS).

CarnoSyn® dosageAccording to a study at the 2017 Arnold Classic Sports Expo, 69% of people don’t know the correct amount of beta-alanine needed to feel its proven benefits. This has proven beneficial for several sports nutrition companies to under dose Beta-Alanine in their pre-workout supplements.

There are two ways you can dose CarnoSyn® Beta-Alanine. Studies were conducted over a 28-day period to determine the amount of CarnoSyn® Beta-Alanine that was needed to provide the most benefit. Two different dosages were discovered. The first was 90g of CarnoSyn® Beta-Alanine over 28-days which averages 3.2g per day. This is considered a clinical dosage of Beta-Alanine.
