Overview of NutraBio PRE Extreme

NutraBio has been in business since 1996 but is not widely known throughout the sports nutrition industry due to lack of distribution and the price tag on their products. But do not let this alarm you. NutraBio can justify an increased price tag on their products because they are made with the highest quality ingredients with full label disclosure.

NutraBio reinvests their profits into the science of their products and not the marketing. The sports nutrition industry is now realizing the importance of quality products which is a good thing for NutraBio as they are increasing their footprint in the industry.

PRE Extreme by NutraBio was the first product by the brand that I have ever tried. PRE Extreme is one of the best pre-workouts I have ever taken and it made our top rated pre workout list because of this. This is one of the highest scores I have ever given a pre-workout supplement and any supplement in general. (and top on our fat burning pre-workout list too)

From the profile to the effectiveness to the taste and mixability, PRE Extreme is everything you deserve in a pre-workout. The only drawback is the price tag for the servings you get, but then again it’s about quality in these products. You get every dollar from the pre-workout.

Why You Should Trust Our Reviews

Our review panel is made up of individuals with many years of experience in the sports nutrition industry, dating back to the early 2000’s. Their tenure gives them knowledge on brands, supplements, ingredients, dosages and more.
Unlike the majority of “review” sites on the internet, Fitness Informant reviews every supplement on a full-container basis. What does this mean? It means that a review is not written or recorded until the last serving of that product has been finished. We’ve all had products that were great for the first couple of days, but then lost their effectiveness shortly after. We want to ensure you are getting a full review based on a full product.
We breakdown each ingredient in our reviews to educate you on exactly what the ingredients do, and what is the proper dosage of each ingredient to effectively do what they are intended to do.
Our number #1 priority is to inform you proper supplement selection through honest reviews. The majority of “review” sites on the internet will push you to buy a certain product based on the commissions they received. Not us. We want you to purchase the highest quality supplements at the best value. We put your health and wellness first. To achieve your goals we want you to use only the best supplements that you can afford. We do this by being honest.

Testing Results and Ratings

We reviewed NutraBio PRE Extreme on five categories. We first start by looking at it’s ingredient profile. This portion of the review looks at the different ingredients used in the pre-workout, what their intention is and how effectively dosed are each ingredient.

We then look at effectiveness. An effective pre-workout will use high quality, proven ingredients, at clinically backed dosages.  This is generally an extension of the profile section. The higher quality ingredients used at proper dosages, the more effective that product will be.

Then we move into the taste of the different flavors we’ve tried. We grade each flavor separately and average the scores for their overall taste rating. We were able to test out the following flavors: Raspberry Lemonade

Mixability refers to how well the powder mixes in 12oz of water. We use the shaker bottle test. This would be your typical Blender Bottle with the spiral chrome ball.

Finally, we talk about value. Value is the combination of profile, effectiveness, taste and mixability in relation to cost. Another part of value are the competitors and other versions of pre-workout products on the market.

Ingredients Profile

PRE Extreme’s profile is separated by seven main categories: rapid glycogen pre-load system; athletic endurance and performance complex; power, strength and recovery complex; electrolyte and hydration optimizer; nitric oxide performance matrix; focus, drive and stimulation complex; and nutrient absorption enhancer.

This profile is simply amazing. The glyco load to start is extremely important feeding your muscles with the highest quality of carb you can take. The use of beta alanine is typical across pre-workouts but a necessity. This formula is also packed with two creatine types, monohydrate and HCL, L-Leucine and Betaine anhydrous which collectively work together to increase your power, strength and recovery.

At 1500mg of taurine it allows your muscles to stay hydrated longer while you lift. There is not a need to pair PRE Extreme with a pump product because it contains agmatine sulfate which increases blood flow and giving you a bigger pump. PRE Extreme has 1600mg of stimulants which includes 350mg of caffeine! The last part of the profile that is beneficial is it uses Bioperine which increases the absorption of the ingredients in PRE Extreme.

PRE-Extreme Label

I always go back to the original version of Jack3d as one of my favorite pre-workouts of all time. I can say that this one has surpassed it. The 350mg of caffeine gives you the energy you need but also the mixture of N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine and other stimulants gives you the drive and focus you need and deserve in the gym.

I typically workout around 5:30am every day. This is exactly what I need to wake me up and get my butt to the gym. Your skin does not peel like some pre-workouts who just toss in ingredients to give you that feel (beta alanine) but it gives you a good energy that you can unleash on the weights. I lift more, lift longer and feel better during my workouts due to PRE Extreme.

Raspberry Lemonade: (9/10)

PRE Extreme is available in several flavors, as well as an unflavored option, and it does not disappoint in taste. PRE Extreme is drank quickly, or at least it should, but the flavor we tried was amazing. You could definitely sip on PRE Extreme if you’d like but I still suggest downing it quickly and getting to the gym to push some weight around.

With the use of a Blender Bottle PRE Extreme dilutes in water rather quickly. I never had any issues with leftover residue after finishing the quick drink.

This is the one area of concern for wallet conscious people. For 20 servings of PRE Extreme you can expect to pay around $40 or more. A typical pre-workout for 30 servings is around $35-$40. So you are paying more for less…in terms of servings for this product.

However, if you are looking for an amazing product worth every penny this is it. If you do not need the profile that this offers and can get buy with a cheaper version that is your call, but if you are like me that need a good pre-workout otherwise it is rendered useless, then this is your choice!
