Inspired Nutraceuticals New DVST8 Dark Pre-Workout Revealed

Last week, Inspired Nutraceuticals revealed their upcoming version of DVST8 called DVST8 DARK. DVST8 has been one of our favorite pre-workouts for years now, and just about every version has been a hit. Not only do they do a great job with their designs, but their formulas are always impressive. DVST8 Dark is no different.

DVST8 Dark is set to launch in four flavors, and one of them is a collaboration with Kayla Rossi in the “Killaid” flavor. Not only was the flavor chosen by Kayla Rossi, but the formula has also been tweaked, and she had a part in the formulation. We will get into that, but let’s start off with the regular formula, then go into the difference with the Killaid. DVST8 Dark comes in 4 flavors, Blue Dream, Forbidden Fruit, Malibu Breeze, and Killaid. 

DVST8 Black Pre-Workout Details

DVST8 Dark contains six separate fully disclosed blends. The first one is called the DVST8: The Truth Matrix which contains Citrulline and Arginine Nitrate (NO3-T) to help with pumps. Nitrates are one of our favorite pump inducers here on FI. Following this you get the Endless: Endurance & VO2 Supply blend which contains a familiar 3.2g of Beta-Alanine, Theobromine, and Naringin. Naringin is interesting, as it is a flavonoid that helps with lipid metabolism and aids with inflammation. 

Now comes what Inspired is known for… the stims! Inspired is known for this, and the Dark: Stimulated Reality Ignition blend looks like a lot of fun. You get 325mg of Caffeine Anhydrous to start, which is then followed by NeuroCap™. NeuroCap is from Skullcap Root Extract, and may boost mood and reduce anxiety. Following this, you get SYNapsis and Luciferine. Inspired did not just use these for their cool names, but also their functionality. Luciferine may actually help with vasodilation. Finally you get Dicaffeine Malate as Infinergy™, a timed-release form of Caffeine that may help prevent a crash. 

Endless: Hydration Refill is quite straight forward, as it is a a blend of electrolytes. Sea Salt, Potassium, and Magnesium are in here. They also included Fructoogliosaccharides, something we have seen another popular brand do for hydration. 

Next up we have the Dark: Mind/Muscle Sync Module blend, which has some nootropic ingredients. Here you get Tyrosine, some CoLean™, and DMAE. CoLean™ is a blend of Alpha GPC and Citicholine. A solid blend right here.

Finally we have the Every Last Drop: Absorption Protocol, which isn’t really a blend. It is BioPerine, which is black pepper extract. This may aid with absorption, and is dosed well at 5mg. 

The profile is very well done and there is no way you are not going to feel this. With that said, the Killaid flavor with Kayla Rossi has a bit of a twist to it.

The DVST8: The Truth Matrix has been switched out for the DVST*: Thermo-Pump Matrix. Kayla decided to take out the Arginine Nitrate and swap it out for up to 1,500mg Carnitine and 20mg LeanGBB. The spin is basically that it can help induce some sweat and aid with fat loss. 

Regarding fat loss and increased thermogenesis, the Kayla Rossi version also includes the heavy-hitting stimulant Rauwolfia (Alpha Yohimbine) and Yohimbine HCl, both at .5mg to 1mg depending on your serving size.

For those of you unfamiliar with Kayla Rossi, she is a fitness professional who also appeared for All Elite Wrestling. She is an official athlete for Inspired Nutraceuticals as well as part of the company.
