Effectiveness
[/vc_column_text][divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”20″][vc_column_text]As usual, this is the most important part of the review. Did Gamer Up deliver? Well it all depends on how you use it. If you’re using it to game, it will give you a nice energy boost and perhaps a nice jump in alertness. I played both Fortnite and CoD:BO4 while on this, and there there was always an increase in my performance. I’m no pro or anything like that, but I increased my K/D and W/L ratio on both everytime I took Gamer Up.It shined for me at the most as a pre-workout. As a standalone, it’s a little better than simply drinking an energy drink, especially with the extra tyrosine and taurine. You won’t get much support as far as pump or strength aspects are concerned, but in conjunction with a stim-free pump supplement it is works very well. It’s not a stim-bomb, but unless you’re caffeine sensitivity is higher than it should be, you’ll get a nice boost throughout your workout or gaming session. With the caffeine being a bit lower, so you’re less likely to crash after the effects wear off.

Ingredients Profile

When you drink alcohol you are getting ethanol in your system which converts to acetaldehyde. A little bit of acetaldehyde is fine, because your liver stores enough of a substance called glutathione to break it down and ridding it from your system in a short period of time. However, if you consume large amounts of alcohol, your body must store the acetaldehyde until more glutathione is formed to break it down. Acetaldehyde is the substance that leads to the hangover.Taurine, the first ingredient used in this proprietary blend, has been shown to increase your level of aldehyde dehydrogenase, a substance, along with glutathione, that breakds down acetaldehyde – the hangover causing molecule (from ethanol.). Long story short, Taurine has been shown to significantly accelerate the metabolism of alcohol and reduce the toxicity of alcohol – this reducing your hangover. Regarding dosage, there is not concrete evidence on actual dosage as studies in rats have been anywhere from .32g/kg to .62g/kg.
The next ingredient, Pantethine, has been shown to inhbit acetaldehyde significantly. Again, no optimal dosage has been identified but the idea that this works to significantly inhibit acetaldehyde is a good thing.
As mentioned earlier, L-Glutathione helps break down acetaldehyde and remove it from the system. We get that ingredient next. Studies have shown that L-Glutathione counteracts the hangover affect.
Lastly, we get Asian Ginseng. This has shown positive effects on alcohol metabolism by the body. Studies have proved that they reduce the symptoms of a hangover.
Overall, a solid ingredient profile. Each ingredient has been scientifically proven to help alleviate the hangover symptoms. Effectiveness

I decided to take this several times over the summer at music festivals, bachelor parties and weddings. The key thing here is for this to work, you need to remember to take one dosage before you start drinking – this is easy – and one dosage AFTER your last drink – this is more difficult.
Truth-be-told, the first time I took this, I stated drinking at 10am and didn’t stop until 2am…I wasn’t hungover the next day. No lie. I was tired, but I woke up at 7am after going to bed at 3am…you cannot make up for only four hours of sleep – that’s not what this supplement in intended for.
The next time was at a bachelor party. If you’ve been on one of these you know the copious amounts of alcohol you consume in a short period of time. The Friday night I took it I did not go to bed until early in the morning – waking up abnormally early to watch a PGA event on TV. No hangover, but tired as hell. Then we proceeded to get on a boat in the blistering sun – the combination of the heat and dehydration didn’t bode well for me – it wasn’t a hangover, but I felt weak.
That night I took Neutralize again – no hangover the next day.
The most recent time I took it was for a wedding. I took it before and after drinking. We closed the bars down (2:30am) and got to bed at 3am. I was up at 6am and in the gym – tired, but no hangover.

However, they are not the exact same formula. Let’s break it down:Liquicaps use 1.6g of Glycerol – the ingredient that turns your muscles into a sponge, essentially, where you can absorb the water to give you that pump you want. The OG NOXygen used 1.5g of HydroMax Glycerol. HydroMax is more concentrated and less likely to clump. So, although you technically get .1g more of Glycerol in the caps, it’s the GMS version and not the HydroMax version, a better quality Glycerol. Ideally I like to get around 2g of Glycerol in my pump.
The next ingredient are the nitrates. These are a thing of beauty. They help raise NO levels in the body pushing blood and liquid into your muscles where your Glycerol awaits to absorb it. Liquicaps uses 500mg Sodium Nitrate per serving while the OG uses 740mg of Sodium Nitrate and Betaine Nitrate. This is a minimal difference, but a difference nonetheless. You want a minimum of 500mg of nitrates.
Overall, the ingredient deck is still very good and a great value. Because of this, I would have to take a double serving (to be fair, I did the same with the OG NOXygen too) to get the best effectiveness from this product.As I mentioned earlier, I like at least 2g of HydroMax/Glycerol. One serving almost gets you there, but not quite. At two servings you are getting a great dosage of both Glycerol and Sodium Nitrates.
Even at one serving (2-caps) you do get a slight pump, but it is noticeably different with two servings. I get the convenience factor, but you will also pay for it while you get just slightly more Glycerol (non-branded) and slightly less Nitrates. You also get less servings (30-servings compared to the 40-servings of the OG).
