Overview of Cutler Nutrition Sculpt

Cutler Nutrition is a brand brought to you by none other than Jay Cutler himself. Cutler is one of the few bodybuilders who has stayed relevant and maintained his popularity after his legendary career, in part due to his willingness to evolve with the times.

Sculpt is Cutler Nutrition's thermogenic fat burner. Sculpt is a stem-based fat burner, and is meant to provide you with energy, appetite suppression, and thermogenesis.

Why You Should Trust Our Reviews

  • EXPERT REVIEW PANEL
Our review panel is made up of individuals with many years of experience in the sports nutrition industry, dating back to the early 2000’s. Their tenure gives them knowledge on brands, supplements, ingredients, dosages and more.
  • FULL CONTAINER REVIEWS
Unlike the majority of “review” sites on the internet, Fitness Informant reviews every supplement on a full-container basis. What does this mean? It means that a review is not written or recorded until the last serving of that product has been finished. We’ve all had products that were great for the first couple of days, but then lost their effectiveness shortly after. We want to ensure you are getting a full review based on a full product.
  • INGREDIENT EDUCATION
We breakdown each ingredient in our reviews to educate you on exactly what the ingredients do, and what is the proper dosage of each ingredient to effectively do what they are intended to do.
  • 100% HONEST – NO B.S. REVIEWS
Our number #1 priority is to inform you proper supplement selection through honest reviews. The majority of “review” sites on the internet will push you to buy a certain product based on the commissions they received. Not us. We want you to purchase the highest quality supplements at the best value. We put your health and wellness first. To achieve your goals we want you to use only the best supplements that you can afford. We do this by being honest.

Testing Results and Ratings

We reviewed Cutler Nutrition Sculpt on 3 categories. We first start by looking at its ingredient profile. This portion of the review looks at the different ingredients used in the testosterone boosting supplement, what their intention is and how effectively dosed are each ingredient.

We then look at effectiveness. An effective fat burner product will use high quality, proven ingredients, at clinically backed dosages.  This is generally an extension of the profile section. The higher quality ingredients used at proper dosages, the more effective that fat burner will be.

Finally, we talk about value. Value is the combination of profile and effectiveness in relation to cost. Another part of value are the competitors and other versions of fat burner products on the market.

Ingredients Profile

To start this off, Sculpt is fully disclosed, so props right off the bat. Sculpt offers nothing you wouldn’t expect from a weight loss supplement, let alone one that is formulated well. The approach is almost very “by the numbers”.

Acetyl L-Carnitine at 500mg per scoop, Neurofactor™ at 100mg, and L-Theanine at 25mg for cognition and mood support. All ingredients are dosed well, and even though the ALCAR looks slightly low, we must keep in mind that this is a 2 servings per day product. So you’re getting 1g of ALCAR per day.

Caffeine and Theobromine for energy, which is standard. Caffeine at 250mg per serving is a solid amount, and should be enough to get you going.

Grains of Paradise and Cayenne Pepper Extract are common fat loss ingredients. 50mg of Grains of Paradise is a solid dose, and since you’re taking it twice a day, you’re getting a solid amount.

Typically, to the an effective dose of each ingredient (save for the caffeine), you do need to take a full day’s worth of servings: two. No one serving meets the minimum efficacious dose, but when taken as recommended everything meets up nicely. The only area of concern would be the caffeine, since one serving yields 250mg of Caffeine Anhydrous.

A full day’s worth of servings puts you at 500mg of caffeine, ON TOP OF whatever other sources of caffeine you take. On its own though, the caffeine isn’t outrageous nor problematic. Just, keep an eye on your caffeine intake.

The Banaba Leaf Extract is sort of the oddball here. Shown to have anti-diabetic properties, it kind of makes sense but it also kind of doesn’t. While it can inhibit the uptake of carbohydrates (to an extent), you might be needing up to 3,000mg of the stuff to get the desired effects. You’re getting 75mg in here.

Top to bottom, it is a solid profile. A lot of things you like, nothing you don’t (besides the low amount of Banaba Leaf), just drink maybe one cup of coffee instead of three.

Effectiveness

(8.0/10)

As a whole, Sculpt delivers on its label claims.

We used Sculpt as recommended, which is 2 capsules in the morning, and then 2 more capsules 6-8 hours later

The energy does not hit you right away, but rather it takes it time to set in. At a certain point you feel more alert, more awake, less hungry, etc. Furthermore, you also never really felt Sculpt die off. Even on days where our user couldn’t take the second dose, you never really felt Sculpt “stop working” if you will, there was essentially no crash. Smooth is only word that comes to mind when trying to describe what it feels like to be taking it.

As previously stated, 500mg of caffeine is more than enough to get most people through the day. The claim of “intense energy” is somewhat supported by this, however as with all stimulant based products, you do end up building a tolerance. This is not unique to Sculpt, it just becomes problematic when all that caffeine can’t get you through your day. That being said, for the most part, it was more than enough to get through than his 15 hour work days. Our user never felt like Sculpt negatively affected his sleep, which may vary from person to person, but is good to know.

There was a slight-but-obvious thermogenic effect, which is what we expected. As for focus regarding the cognition support? It was noticeable, nothing crazy like you’d expect from some nootropics out there, but still there.

As for appetite suppression, it was solid overall, and while not as powerful as some other products out there, was noticable.

All-in-all, Sculpt didn’t punch us in the face or anything like that. It was a much more gradual on ramp.

Value

(8.8/10)

Sculpt runs around $50 a bottle, give or take a few dollars ($49.99 tote exact, from Cutler Nutrition themselves). Using coupon code “INFORMANT”, you get 11% off.

At roughly $1.48/per day for a one month supply at max dose (two servings per day), Sculpt is probably one of the better deals you’ll find out there. The major ding here, is that to get an efficacious dose of 75% of the ingredients, you’ll need both servings.
