L-Citrulline (10,000mg)

Citrulline is the precursor to L-Arginine in the body, which in turn increases nitric oxide levels. What does this all mean in simple terms? You get a bigger, fuller pump. While many companies are using the less expensive Citrulline Malate (that’s another conversation), RYSE uses pure Citrulline at a dosage that is a good chunk above the average.

Pure L-Citrulline should be dosed at 3-5g. 

Betaine Anhydrous (as BetaPower®)  (5,000mg)

Betaine is the next ingredient here. Betaine is a very popular ingredient these days, and may help with power output. Overall it is one of our favorite performance ingredients here on FI. Betaine also has several studies supporting it, and it is great to see here.

At 5,000mg, it is at a great dose.

Beta-Alanine (4,000mg)

Another addition is Beta-Alanine, which is no surprise. Beta-Alanine is pretty much the most common ingredient in pre-workouts these days. While many simply take Beta-Alanine for the paresthesia, it actually has benefits beyond the “tingles”.

Beta-Alanine to put it simply, buffers lactic acid during exercise. This means it may aid in overall endurance. It is a saturation based ingredient, so we recommend supplementing with it on off days as well. 

At 4 grams, Beta-Alanine is dosed well in the CEO’s Pre.

L-Tyrosine (2,500mg)

We typically see Tyrosine around 1,000mg. More and more companies are using it at higher dosages. Tyrosine can aid with improving clarity and focus. The mind-muscle connection is, in our opinion, one of the most important aspects of a pre-workout supplement, stim or non-stim, that a lot of companies put on the back burner due to the cost of ingredients.

At 2.5 grams, you should definitely notice a difference!

Taurine (2,000mg)

Taurine is the next ingredient in Nic Stella’s pre-workout, and it should come as no surprise. Taurine is growing in popularity, and for good reason. Taurine is known for its ability to aid with blood flow and hydration. Hydration is very important for pumps, and many already take Taurine for the anti-cramping benefits.

At 2 grams, you are getting a solid dose. 

Arginine Nitrate (as NO3-T®) (2,000mg)

Nitrates are one of the best ways to get a pump, and honestly, there is pretty much nothing in the supplement space that comes close. It is actually by far our favorite ingredient in terms of getting a pump here on FI, so it is great to see 2 grams of the tried and true Arginine Nitrate in CEO Pre. To put it simply, Arginine Nitrate will help dilate your blood vessels, which will in turn aid with bloodflow, performance, and pumps in the gym.

At 2 grams, you are getting a good dose. 

VasoDrive-AP (508mg)

VasoDrive-AP is a great ingredient to see in here, and it is one with good research behind it. It is actually a derivative of Casein, and has been shown to lower blood pressure, in doses as low as 150mg per day. Certainly a solid and expensive ingredient to add to this.

At 508mg, it is dosed well.

Citicholine (as Cognizin ®) (500mg)

Cognizin is a trademarked form of Citicholine, which is a fast acting Choline that is great when used pre-workout. Choline converts to Acetylcholine in the brain, which is a neurotransmitter. This may aid in focus, and is by far one of the most popular ingredients in the nootropic category. Can certainly help you lock in!

At 500mg, you should get a noticeable increase in focus from this.

Peak ATP® (400mg)

PEAK ATP is a form of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which is a molecule that provides energy to your cells. ATP is your body’s main energy source that you consistently deplete during your workout. This can aid in performance. 

Peak ATP should be dosed at 400mg, which is what you get in the CEO Pre. 

Setria® L-Glutathione  (200mg)

L-Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant that is actually quite a popular supplement. You typically see this in liver health products, as well as skin health products as well. In a pre-workout, especially with the combination of Citrulline and Arginine, it may help support Nitric Oxide production.

At 200mg of Setria®, you are getting a solid dose.

Caffeine (200mg)

Caffeine Anhydrous is a source of everyone’s favorite energy boosting ingredient. This ingredient needs no introduction. Caffeine inhibits adenosine receptors, which in turn helps with alertness, energy, and performance. 

At 200mg, you are getting a moderate dose by today’s standard, which is great. 

Dynamine® (40%) (125mg)

Dynamine is a natural energy supplement from Compound Solutions that may amplify feelings of energy, mood and focus by activating dopamine receptors and other key neurotransmitters, without raising heart rate or blood pressure. It is similar to TeaCrine, another popular energy supplement from Compound Solutions, however it is a bit more fast-acting. We like this ingredient as it really puts you in tune with your body during workouts.

At 125mg (40% active), you are getting a good dose.

zumXR®  (100mg)

ZumXR is a source of extended release Caffeine. Meaning that it helps with energy, just over a period of time. This can help make the energy boost from the CEO Pre lasting longer. It is standardized to 70% Caffeine, which means you are getting 70mg of Caffeine from the 100mg dose. 

CognatiQ ® (100mg)

CognatiQ is Coffe Arabica fruit and is actuallyquite popular. Some of you may remember the old name of it (Neurofactor). It can help with BDNF levels, and may help with learning, memory, and higher thinking.

At 100mg, you are getting a good dose.

AstraGin® (50mg)

AstraGin is from NuLiv Science and is a popular bioavailability enhancer. It helps increase the expression of mRNA transporter proteins, which help transport nutrients to the bloodstream. 

At 50mg, you are getting a clinical dose.

Thinkamine™  (20mg)

Thiamine, also known as Vincamine, is a cerebral vasodilator. It may help promote blood flow to the brain, which can improve memory, focus, and clarity. 

At 20mg, you are getting a great dose. 

Overall

This is one of the most loaded formulas on the market. Of course, with the “Drop Culture” being teased by Ryse, we can only speculate on what they plan on launching next.
